2009 Harness Racing Accident- Rabbit Causes Northlands Park Spill

@canadian4sure You are not too with it... the track callers know to not panic if he did as you want then more problems could occur. He is from P.E.I. were many mant fantatic callers come from. To call Northlands down to call anything down is how idiots exist. The track crew had it taken care of quickly but panic is all that people like you know....

The track announcer sounds so uninterested throughout the entire race. He must not like his job.

It was the last race of the night, Sugar stayed calm, the drivers and the backstretch workers can all hear his announcing It would do no good at all for him to get excited and start screaming causing mass panic in the backstretch. The announcer is a truly amazing announcer and he is truly gifted when announcing a race.

Could the announcer have been any less concerned for the drivers and horses that fell??? Not only did he chuckle after the rabbits ran on the track, he barely mentioned the accident, and with very little emotion.

The horse and driver could truly have been injured, and he barely mentioned it
