  • There's always an idiot around!

  • Sad to see it go.

  • Sorry for the delay in responding but this train operation ceased in April of 2007 when Peerless Confectionary shut down. A special run was made in August of 2008 when a private car was run up to the Peerless spur as an excursion for customers of the parent Iowa Pacific which owns the Chicago Terminal. Another special movement came in June of 2009 when a pair of gondolas were stored on the former Peerless spur by the Chicago Terminal. They were removed in the fall of 2009.

  • Freight operations by Chicago Terminal Railroad on this line from Clybourn Avenue north ended by April of 2007 when the only customer, Peerless Confectionary, went out of business. Chicago Terminal took over from CP Rail. Peerless was at the northern end of the line on Diversey Parkway at Lakewood Avenue. Chicago Terminal Railroad ran a passenger excursion trip on this trackage in August of 2008.

  • Does this train still run?
