they sound realy realy close but not real comon guys i own a roland kit as well they are amazing kits but they dont replace an acoustic now way not yet
Those cymbals are just awful. I hope they can upgrade to multisamples or synthesis: given that it's electronically impossible to sample all FM and intermodulation of course.
No point in comparing to the real thing, they're a different animal.
Omar's kit sounds real enough to me. There is something about the cymbal sounds that always made me crave real thing though. Thats why I use real cymbals with my v-drums.
I've got a picnic and disagree. Specially with such consistent players, this demo shows exactly how unreal these can tend to sound. I'd ask that completely uncompressed multi samples were thrown in there some day.

I love the sound of v-drums and I agree they sound real if you make them sound real. If you have v-drums that don't, mess with the settings.

Yes App a well mixed BDF is amazing so i've heard!
I do like layering the Td's with acoustic recording... Logic's great for that.
I'll have a look at S2 now:)

You need to listen BDF and S2 played on the V-Drums. The difference is indistinguishable from the real thing.
