FINALLY!! She was ROBBED the year Michael was shot and put into a coma & it's been a mystery to me why she's never nominated ever but this year she was finally nominated and not only that but WON! I am ecstatic for her - she is a superb actress and I love the character of Carly on GH. There are times when I watch just for her - LW is amazing and has been amazing for years and she's FINALLY being recognized for it. This has been a loooong time coming.

You are not the only one. I love Carly more than so many things, and that is because of Mrs. Laura Wright. Didn't care about this character one way or the other until she came along. LW is a beast, and I am watching this show to this day because of her. She earned that trophy, and I hope there are many more to come. LW is a goddess, and she was born to play Carly!

I watched the daytime emmys along with everyone else n this was more like a goodbye to daytime ,it was more of a see you later n I say that b/c of the fact ,now the only thing that you,re more or less going to see are reality shows where ,All my children n one life to live should be ,the powers that work on abc daytime are making the biggest mistakes known to mankind b/c you have some of the best actors on these shows n most of them even got nominated ,some should,ve won more so or less
