@MrMagicCreeper You clearly have absolutely no idea what a cinema camera is capable of, and you're especially not aware of the technical capabilities of the Epic, or any RED camera. They do not function as advertised. RED has some incredibly clever marketing. A Canon 5D MKII has a higher resolution (sensor size) than the RED ONE. The Epic is not capable of IMAX frame resolution. But you're a good example of someone who knows nothing about actual movie-making, despite acting as if they do.

@IbeJigsaw I'm not stupid, and yes, the RED may have a smaller sensor size than the 5D, but its /how/ it uses it. Tell me this. Does the 5D record at 5k? Nope. And yes, I will admit that the RED/IMAX thing slipped past my mind. I mean, how can a 27.7 by 14.6 mm sensor compare to 70 by 48.5mm IMAX film XD

The RED is still far superior than the 5D, and I am sure you agree.

HOWEVER

In this digital day and age, the EPIC wins as EPIC footage can be played anywhere where as IMAX can not. Nuff said.

I think it will be very difficult to make the new film as amazing as this one, if not impossible. That smashing performance by Heath Ledger cannot be topped, and I personally prefer the villains without any superpowers - like Batman. I don't think it works in that world, so I'm not sure how I feel about Catwoman. We all know the story, and I don't think we can deny that there is something fantastical about her. I'm am very much looking forward to the movie though :D

@richie90210 Not really, he was in a room filled with oil drums and he knocked one over and then fell over himself, and half of his face was covered with oil/gasoline liquid and when the place blew up the fire just reacted with the chemical, so in truth no it really wasn't acid... that would be the actual joker from the original batman who fell into toxic waste.
