Search "Sick Around the World" you can watch an excellent PBS Frontline episode about how 5 different countries provide access to health care services to their citizens. In each country he asks " do any of your citizens go bankrupt because they happen to get sick?" listen carefully to the answers. This is really worth watching.
In Europa every country has social insurance controlled by the state and it's a good thing. We're paying far less for health care and education - as you did in the Sixties!
No one fears communism or islamization by that, this is a diffamation campaign.
People who follow the "grassroots"-campaigns of the Tea Party (in fact controlled by lobbyists from Wash/DC) are useful idiots.
What's the sense of avoiding control of the Obama goverment but then falling into dependence of private lobbyists?
@Murmillo1 absolutely I agree with you Murmillo !! The Lobbyists that pay off our government officials RUN this country. The Congress and House Reps in Washington sign off on huge stacks of papers called bills that they rarely ever read. They have their assistants skim over the bills and pick the important matter within those papers and focus on that. Stop supporting large corporations like Walmart and support smaller shops like Sandra Good's shop. That will change America !!

Terrifying the stories like this. We, the people, must not only change it. It is our duty to find the politicians who signed the laws making it ok to become like this, pull them out of their retirement and get answers for their thinking. Whatever laws keeping us from doing so, need changed and now.
