Wow I have never seen someone survive that long in a guillotine that appears to be locked in. I am curious as to the weight of each fighter during this specific fight, does anyone have the information? Sakurai is naturally in the 170 pound range whereas Silva is naturally in the 205 pound range which is an extremely significant different in natural size. What was the catch weight for this fight?

sakurai didn't weigh much less than silva. silva is naturally in teh 205lb range, but up until now he almost never fought in that weight class, so you figure he's around 180 here. The weight class isn't too different but their height difference is most def. huge. Much like Machida vs Penn

My viewpoint is that Hayato Sakurai is a brilliant fighter. The main reason why I respect Anderson Silva is this fight. Hayato Sakurai's ability to survive that guillotine that accurred five minutes into the fight is some the most amazing Mixed Martial Arts that I have ever seen as well as an awesome display of physical strength. Much respect for both fighters..
