Arumat is badass xD I supose everyone knows this already, but maybe not so: Arumat's last name, Thanatos, means "death" in Greek. His first name is an anagram of the word "trauma". and: His ship was numbered 04, which means death in Japanese culture.  Got it from the Star Ocean Wikia. Arumat is my favorite character ^^ then I guess....Edge/Meracle. lol

Well, lots of ambush means lots of EXP. I had Edge's Symbolic Weapon spell at that time, so I pretty much plowed through them. ^_^

The Phantoms are pretty easy during your second playthrough. The first time I fought them, I was like, "This is gonna be easy. Wait, maybe they're tougher than I thought.... Well I'm glad that's over, wait hold on, there's more of them. And that's that. What?! THEY JUST KEEP COMING!!! THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! *I died* Well I guess I deserved that beating."

Good memories. But the key is to be around level 40 and equip chain combos and Critical Hit. I learned that during my second playthrough.

Without a doubt my favourite track in the Star Ocean 4 OST, even if it reminds me of the "endless Phantoms battle".

But, this music made my grinding on Nox Obscurus much easier as well ^^

Well, it isn't really endless, but it is a very long battle with about 8 waves of ennemies, so most people call it a never-ending battle.

And in the Cardianon Mothership, you can refill your ring with broken part which emit lightning.

My Edge was in the Levels 75 ish, and my party was in the 65 area. I hated fighting the Phantom soldiers with the guns. You dodge the bullets and go in for an attack but they do that shoulder nudge and make you go dizzy then they run back. Last boss gave me some troubles when his orbs died out. But I managed. (Thank God for the Rush Specials -whew-) 5/5 Stars.

My advice: Get your melee fighters the "No Guard" and "HP Boost" skills maxed out. I kept dying until I gave Edge the maxed-out "No Guard" skill. Once I did that the fight went relatively smooth.  I only had to use 3 Fresh Sage items (all of them on Sarah ^_^').

I was kind of sad on the last boss, it was much easier than some of the other bosses for me. I just had Arumat and spammed Bloodstorm Revolution. Occasionally hopping to Myuria to heal :P

What I did, and was kinda fairly easy, was have Edge, meracle, sarah, and arumat, and have all of them except edge have HP boost, and auto healing maxed, and have edge with ATK increase, and autohealing with holy sword "farewell", and have sarah use ONLY healing and stay back, everyone else just gang up at full force, and use edge and spam stampede slash, and mystic cross, with ocassional rush combos, went fairly easy especially at lvl65

This song IS available on the arranged soundtrack, yes..When or If it is released outside

of Japan I don't know quite yet..However this particular song can also be found in the actual

game for you to listen to during battles, that is if you've got the game which I'm not sure you have yet.
