  • Part-3 so if you have a nitro daphne blue single coil highway one strat from July-2006 to December-31-2007 leave it stock its worth $1,200 and more. The Alnico III pickups are simply great. The Fender ping machines are 14:1 Gear Ratio. No reason to.

  • The nitro daphne blue highway ones were discontinued 12-31-2007. Today if you can even find one in daphne blue upgraded model highway one single coil strats there selling for $1,200 and more. I have been offord $1,280 for mine from strat collectors.

  • Part of the Highway one strat upgraded model was to produce classic strat tones and have its own voice. Mine will always stay stock. The 2007 daphne blue single coil high way ones are rare only 1500 were made daphne blue on the upgraded models.

  • Part-2.. The 2007 highway one strat is the strat players strat. Tones are very versatile from classic 60's to the 70's to the present jimi hendrix would have had a Ball with this year and model strat. Any ways im Honored to own a 2007 nitro Hwy 1 strat

  • The 2007 Nitro daphne blue highway one strat is rare Fender only produced 1500 in the upgraded version highway one strats. The 2007 highway one strat is one of the most versatile strats ever made due to the part of the Brilliant Anico III pick ups.

  • Like stratdem i also own a rare nitro daphne blue finish 2007 Fender highway one strat. I was offord $1,285 for mine. I wont sell for many reasons. There wont be another versatile strat like the legendary 2007 highway one strat.

  • I love this video.

  • Are all Fender Stratocaster parts designed to fit other parts of different models? I mean for example, If I bought a Highway One body, will a 60's reissue or any model neck fit it as long as it's a Fender Stratocaster neck? Thanks!

  • Gloss and gold hardware!! But seriously that can't cost too much more.. This guitar probably cost 300-400 dollars to make! Just sayin...

  • I have the Rare 2007 nitro daphne blue single coil highway one strat. Fender only made 1500 in the upgraded version of the highway one strat. Daphne blue color was discontinued 12-31-2007.

  • My 2002 Highway One Strat rules !!!!

  • I have two Highway One's. A early (before the upgrade) 2006 & 2009 (upgrade). Both have maple necks, but I will tell you....the upgrade is worth it! The finish is the SAME as my vintage telecaster! Nitro! The pickups are amazing, and I can tell a difference! It vibrates my ribs when I play the dam thing! Lol! The guitar resonates so much, I play it as an acouastic. Remember when Steve Cropper, Syd Barrett use to do that with 50s, 60s models? They wrote on unplugged esquires/telecasters.

  • That Tele playing sounds a whole lot like Chuck Hall...

  • the fender highway one strats have been discontiued now over a month!

and i'm getting Emails from strat collectors who want my 2007 fender highway one daphne blue strat. highest bid so far has been $1,250 keep in mind only the 2007 models are selling for this amount. so if you have a 2007 hold on to it!

  • Theses are made in the US right??

  • @smalldrew yes

  • Is the highway one series the only series with the grease bucket tone circuit?

  • I don´t think that gibson guitars are overrated.... gibson axes are amazing in allsenses, from the outstanding look to the amazing tone. ButI think ginson should there prices a little bit. Cause they are ridicously expensive.

  • I have an 07 Highway One in the three ton sunburst. I've play many guitars in more than 30 years of playing. I have to say this is the nicest of them all from a feel point of view. It vibrates so much, it feels alive when I pick it up and play it. You can hear the tone without even pluggin it in. Hang it up, pluck the B and grab the body, it'll vibrate right through you! Plus it has some of my scars on it and is showing wear nicely. LOVE IT!

  • Going on 2 years with my Highway One Tele, and I love it more than the American Standard or Deluxe Tele.

  • i went into a music store today looking for a Telecaster, i tried every tele that they had in the store except for the Highway One model, i've always thought they were cheap, but none of the tele's i played felt right and i kid you not i thought what the fuck why not, and i swear to god this guitar was amazing!! it's felt amazing the fretboard the neck great crunch on the bridge pickup with overdrive and great clean on the neck, i will buy it when i can afford it for sure

  • Lol, 7 People are Gibson Players

  • @kammetje1 i feel realy bad for them!

  • @stratdem Yeah so do I,

Because Gibson Guitars are a bit overrated and Fender Guitars Are just Soul To the core.

  • @kammetje1 fender are overrated too. but i like fenders and gibsons for what they are - just solid, dependable, versatile guitars that have stood the test of time. i don't care if people tell me i'm only interested in the big brands, which some people do, because i know what i like and i enjoy playing my guitars, and nothing can change that :)

    i like gibsons better though.

  • @Blompcube I Agree With You That both brands are Overrated. But hey, if they wouldn't be so good they would have never become such big brands. So, bigger is better ...right? And yeah Gibson is Awesome to, just a bit more Expensive.

  • You nailed it Fender, I LOVE MY TELE!

  • Fender is going to release the same Brilliant Alnico III pick ups

that are in the legendary 2007 highway one sss strats eaither

    in july or august 2011.

  • @stratdem Oh my God! Dude stop posting comments about fender highway one 2007 models. I dont think anyone cares so just shutup

i bet im gonna get thumbs down for this too.

  • @DistortionCrazy do you realy think i give a shit what you think asswipe

  • If i were to buy a Highway 1 guitar.. i would have to be one of the Teles :-)

Tried one of them in my local guitar shop ( a little tweaked though) but very nice!

  • If i were to buy a Highway 1 guitar.. i would have to be one of the Teles :-)

Tried one of them in my local guitar shop ( a little tweaked though) but very nice!

  • that strat clean nearly gave me an orgasm

  • @Ladyluck2806 you want a long orgasm? find yourself a 2007 highway one sss strat

there very hard to find and you will pay alot more for the 2007 models but very much

worth it. so if you find a 2007 and play it you will orgasm for day's!

  • "i boil it down to one word...performance, performance...performance." that made me crack up. i do love these guitars though.

  • I have a 60th anniversery, Blond Highway One Tele. It is so sweet. Amazing range. Jazz, Jimi, Chicken Pickin, I can get it all.

  • what you suggest, this or american special strat

  • @cybrhckr the highway one sss strat with out any doubt!

  • im getting one in feb :D sunburst with maple neck

  • fk. i got my h1 strat in 2005. wish i waited another year =(

    whats the difference?

  • fender ping tunners in my opinion are much better

    than the fender vintage tunners.

the fender ping tunners used on a MIA highway one strat has a 16 to 1 ratio.

the fender ping tunners used on a MIM stratocasters has a 12 to 1 ratio.

  • @stratdem both 16 to1 ratio pings MIA Fender highway one strat's

and 12 to 1 ratio pings MIM Fender strat's are both simply fantastic!

  • @stratdem relax man, was your mom angry i didnt come ?

  • @MrGuitaroo no but your mom like it when i came in her asshole!

  • the people over there at strat -talk are complete assholes and have no

clue what there talking about. and when it comes to the 2007 highway one sss strat

IDIOT's! is the first thing that comes to mind!!!!

  • to all my friends at fender youtube. stay away from a site called strat-talk. com they are NOT well informed on the 2007 model highway one sss strat. myself and 4 of my guitar buddies were on there and the are some of the most informed idiots in cyber space. and if you dont have a certain model of strat or more than one strat they blow you off. the 2007 highway one sss strat is one of the most sought after strats out there and there are plenty of othere sites out there that address this

  • @stratdem part -2

issue. the people at strat-talk are a buch of douchebags!

  • pesen satu bang ..!

  • Sweet guitars!!! I ordered a highway one strat and I'll have it tomorrow. Hope it will be good!!!

  • the 2007 model highway one sss stratocaster is one

of the best all around strats that fender has made in years.

the 2007's are with out any doubt worth $1,200 to $1,300.

the 2007's i would put in the same class of fender strats starting

with the year 1968 to present. for the players who want a 2007

highway one sss strat just keep looking they are hard to find and the

players who already have one dont sell.

  • "performance, performance, performance, its all about performance"

  • Hi! Nice one mate! Watch mine : watch?v=b_vb0Ebmixs

  • bdbillo629 i just found a 2007 3 tone sunburst highway one sss

stratocaster back in july it cost me $1,230 the person that sold me

the strat paid for shipping. they are hard to find it took me almost

two years to find mine. just keep looking.

  • the H1 strat hss is the best strat for money and specs :)

  • i'm looking for a 2007 model highway one sss strat.

there hard to find and are selling for $1,200 to $1,300 the 2007s

are most certainly one of the best fender strats ever made!

i also love the Alnico III pick ups thats in them.

  • These are the best guitars Fender puts out for the money.

  • How do you clean this guitar? And what should I use to pollish it?

Mine is getting really dirty and I'm kind of a noob... Please reply, I'd really aprecciate it.

  • Thanks for the informative vid.

  • wish they had maple fretboards

  • I own many strats including a highway 1 with single coils. Here is my opinion, Guitar is made well, but one thing you get are crappy pickups. As is the issue with cheaper priced guitars, I replaced the pickups with Lace sensor and now it sounds fat and warm, the stock pickups are horrible, no tone.

  • @SuperDjspawn the Alnico III pick ups are considerd

by most to be in the top 5 alltime fender pick ups. so

were do you come up with them being cheap? your way off

    the facts and truth!

  • @SuperDjspawn I agree with you totally!!

I replaced the crappy stock pickups with a combination of DiMarzio Area series, Gibson Humbuckers, and DiMarzio 36th Anniv. P.A.F.

    These are NOW ....UNBELIEVABLE guitars!!

  • @SuperDjspawn Can I have the ones you took off?

  • what do you think is the best of this guitars? ... performance maybe... jajaja nice video by the way

  • Wouldent really call the HWY-1s ugly. I think they are totally badass looking.

  • 7:08 - that's where they lost me. It's a shame some of you younger guys will never know what a REAL Stratocaster is like; the powers that be at Fender seem to be convinced that they have to keep 'improving' certain features. Some of these new models are alien to me. A real Strat has 21 frets, a three-way pickup selector, 2 7/32" string spacing, and a plain fretboard, none of this 'rolled' crap. I don't get why they can't offer regular Strats to guys like me without asking $3k+ for them.

  • @Burnwash dude, dont cry because they made modifications to the original design. i dont see how one more fret added on makes it any less real then a 60's model. or getting two extra pickup configuations makes it a piece of shit. dude, if one extra fret and two more pickup positions is throwin ya off that much, it might be time to give up playing.

  • @guitarzilla100 ya and they went with jumbo frets instead of medium jumbo. That's the biggest difference in my opinion. Jumbo are too big for me

  • man i want too get the strat!!

  • If you think stratdem likes to fuck himself in the ass with the headstocks of his highway one 2007 sss strat, give a thumbs up.

  • Wich are more worth while? The fender mex classic vibe or the mex highway one?

  • @litlemadguitarist first off the highway one sss strat is USA crafted

also the highway one is considerd to be one of the best

fender strats ever made and there are plenty of other sites

to back this up. also the highway one sss strat is one of the very few

guitars period to be called a legend!

  • Haha, I occasionally come back to this video to see if stratdem is still leaving his rambling comments. And yes, he still does lol.

Someone actually created an account called stratdemsuckscock hahahhahahahhaha

  • @ovneb and there are still some douche bags like you that still

continue to put there fucking foot in there mouths!

  • can you play punk rock on stratocasters

  • @comedybenj Of course

  • @litlemadguitarist is the highway one good

  • @comedybenj they are awesome. I had a Strat Plus Deluxe for many years, I never loved it. It was just too....sterile. All the 'innovations' to the original design (locking tuners, updated bridge, Lace Sensors, roller nut) took the life out of the guitar. Finally sold it to buy a PRS. But I still missed having a Strat...

Picked up a HW1 second-hand. Not sure the year - 70's headstock w/ maple board, nitro finish but 3 singles. LOVE IT. All the charm and tone is back.

  • @intrsoul ty

  • I had a Hwy 1 for four months.. not bad but I upgraded to an American Standard. There really is no comparison. The Standard is on a different level. Butter.

  • @jlowrie33 Hi, Im planning n buying a Fender strat mex prob between 500 and 800 Im looking for that vintage sound but wich could also work with more modern sound. Also one with could playability. Could you suggest the best series please?

  • I got a Fender Highway one texas telecaster, With 50s specs and a 12" fretboard radius. Great instruments, thanks Fender for making great guitars at good prices.

  • Yeah .. It's about PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\m/ ... but to gain that performance U have to Play really Violently on the Guitar :D ... what You beak The chords It's a sign .... a sign of performance ;)

  • i hate the big frets. wish they came with vintage specs to go along the nitro

  • COOL ... I'm thinking to buy one .. :D

  • can you get srv/john mayer tones on this?

  • @Ibanezguy123456789 I have the same Q . How about SRV and John Mayer tones on these guitars ?

  • @huzza18 it's a strat what do you think?

  • @cbappa1 I was just wondering because of the reverse wound PUs and the alnico magnets . Meanwhile I saw a few more vids of it and so I totally agree with you ;D

  • @huzza18 sorry to be such a dick to be honest i have no idea. If i were you i would just buy a MIM strat and put some new pickups in it, save yourself some money

  • @cbappa1 why a dick , what you said is damn true . I already have a MIM Strat , but I have it in HSS configuration so I wanna have a real bluesy one . That´s all . Regards from germany

  • @huzza18 half of SRV's tone was his insane skill and use of crazy thick strings. He used .013's... I use .009's but considering that, it does pretty well. The clean tone especially sounds great. Put it through a good overdrive and a tube amp and it sounds pretty close.

  • @huzza18 the highway one sss strat is a very unique strat! one of the best strat's crafted in over forty years and its one of the very few strats that has been called a legend by pro players and none pro players alike. the Alnico III pick ups are some of the most tone versatile pick ups fender has ever produced. they have been compared to the original 1969 and X-1 pick ups. i would not ever change the Alnico III pick ups.

  • @stratdem thanks for sharing your experience ! I really apreciate . regards from germany .

  • Comment removed

  • @stratdem LOFL, here we go again, the least expensive American(with Mexican PARTS) strat is also the best strat fender makes. You sure are one creative MOFUCKER. you sound like some dumb ass infomercial for fender guitars. Called a legend by pros and non pro players alike.LOFL. Where do you get this shit from? Do you just pull this shit out your ass? You cant back up 1 claim you makes about these guitars. Not 1. Some of the most tone versatile, another comment pulled right from the ass LOFL

  • @BluesStrat88 shut the fuck up ! i gave you the google.com no one give a shit what you think pantiewaste. the highwayone sss strat is much much better than the american standard. and you asswipe are out numberb. david gilmoure/mark knophler and robin trower all owne the 2007 highway one sss strat shit for fucking brains. now idiot go to google.com type in highwayone strat. all the ifo is there. the american standard is not even close to the legendary highway one strat! PERIOD END OF STORY!!!

  • @stratdem YOU ARE ONE DUMB FUCKER, the least expensive american entry point guitar is not a legend, You're just a waste of genetic material, living proof the women can get pregnant from butt sex. Give It Up. You Lose! PERIOD.

  • @stratdem You Are The BIGGEST COCKSUCKER on youtube, No wonder your mother tried to ABORT you. Fucking Dumb Bitch Failed. You Are Living Proof women can get pregnant from BUTT SEX. You shithead!!! You fucking HACK! Get back to me when you learn ENGLISH, You FUCKING IMMIGRANT. Mindless TALENTLESS MotherF'er. You goota be Kidding stating Occupation as MUSICIAN/Guitarist. Should Say DirtPlumber/CockSucker. LMFAO @ NancyDem. FUCK YOU LITTLE GIRL!!!

  • @stratdemsuckscock and so does your fucking mom!!! real good to!!!

and your dad likes real deep in the asshole also! your just a big mouth NO FUCKING TALENT RETARD! HAHAHAHA!!!!

  • @stratdem like the name says, your mouth has either shit coming out of it or cock going in it. Good Try Nancy.

  • It´s apparent that that the Highways are definitly more traditionel than the new Standards . I guess that´s were the low price mainly comes from....just comes from its "basicness".

  • omg the highway S-S-S strats are so beast, i just got mine two days ago.. i play it more than my '07 standard.

  • @mamaperker weeks*

  • i love my h1 strat. fuckin best guitar!

  • i wanna a highway one tele. drop in some brass saddles. maybe a humdinger in the neck. i wish fender would not just use the 70s logo or the 50s logo but use that sweet 64-67 logo too.

  • te reason their able to get these guitars priced so low is that they use the same hardware as the mexi srats. proof that import guitar can be just as good.

  • @PopExpo They don't use mexican strat hardware.

  • I've lost track how many times I've watched this video.

    Must..get..Highway One.

  • @Luwinkle i think i may have watched this vid like 40-50 times per year since it was released XD

  • @LessThanJayms If I had more money I would have got one of these..instead I had to 'settle' for a MIM Standard. After going through 2 crappy overseas guitars first, of course. :P

  • I love how this guy is bashing their own relic series when talking about making the battlescars yourself^^

  • the highway one sss strat are legendary! and they will and should become classic/vintage strats. there wont be another legendary strat built like the highway one sss strat for a very long time. hail to the king og strats! the highway one sss stratocaster!!!!!

  • @stratdem Don't get me wrong, the Highway Ones are good guitars. But seriously, stop trying to make them seem like the best thing since sliced bread. It's getting annoying. They're just guitars for god's sake.

And they are not legendary. Why do we need to hail to a piece of wood? That is not healthy behavior.

  • @ovneb i have been playing fender strats since 1973

and the highway one sss strat is with out any doubt one of the very

best strats fender has put out in years. and there are plenty of other

sites out there that back up this claim!

  • The American Vintage bridge is OK

  • Wow a lot of hate on these guitars! I've owned an 08 standard strat and now an 09 highway one. The standard looks nicer but I love the stripped down highway one. I swapped the bridge pickup for a dimarzio SDS-1 for a hot P-90 sound and it rocks. I'd sit down and play both before you make a decision. I was debating between the two when I first bought the standard and later regretted not purchasing the highway one.

  • RIP Highway one series.

  • i just bought a H1Jazz Bass last saturday... I HAVE NO REGRETS, IT IS A F***ING HOT INSTRUMENT!! I'ts so kick ass... damn :D

  • @Gabichami6428 how's the Highway one Jazz Bass comparing to the American Std?? cause I wanna get the Highway one jazz as well....

  • Does anybody know what song is played at 4:10

  • Unsuccessful products series

  • @theshesy According to who? You? Everyone I know who has a HWy 1 loves it. They only discontinued it so they could bring in the AM Spcl and get an extra $100 bucks a pop. For the money the HWY1 is a steal and Fender saw that so they wanted to maximize profits with Am Spcl. To say it was unsuccessful is erroneous at best.

  • @BLacKCatB0ne

I`m just gonna throw in my two cents. I like the new Am Specials because of the 3 colour sunburst HSS puppy. She`s just beautiful. And they have Texas Specials, for all the SRV you can handle.

  • @Canadianspunge They are definitely beautiful guitars, as for the TX Spcls, so many people use those now that I am looking for a different tone. They are good pups but for the money I'd rather go with some Fralins or have someone custom wind some for me, I dig the SSS American Special in red and maple though.

  • @BLacKCatB0ne Yeah that's true about them being common. It's just that the tone is so glassy and pure. Besides, I find I don't care if too many people use them, because everybody now piles on so much distortion and effects that I end up being one of the few people who actually get the true sound of the pickups when I'm playing.

I prefer clean channels. Sometimes a little fuzz, if the song really calls for it. And I just find the Alnicos in the Highway 1 just aren't as pure sounding.

  • @BLacKCatB0ne the high way one sss strat is one of fenders

most successful strats ever made fender will tell you that!. the highway one

series ran from 2000 to present. the highway one sss upgraded verision

has run since july 2006 to present. the upgraded highway one sss strats up

until june 2009 list price (with out case) was $1,130 and your cost was $900 to$930. the highway one strat has been called by many pro players a legendary strat.

  • @stratdem i am in agreement with you, i think the HWY 1 is the best guitar Fender has put out in a long time. I was replying to the idiot who said it was an "unsuccessful guitar"

  • @BLacKCatB0ne and lets not forget the highway one sss strat was the

first to have the customshop designed greasebucket circut not! the new

american special strat. the highway one sss strat is based on old school style

strats with a hotter and one of the most tone versatile pick ups out today the Alnico III.

  • I have a highway 1 and it is right for me.

  • if you dont like em, how come youve got 7???

  • haha he said he loves them, then talked shit on them for 2 paragraphs

  • @TheSchoolsux345 First off shit-for-brains jackass...I'm dumping on the ELECTRONICS and TUNERS! Change those 2 things and the guitars kicks ass!! They are great resonant pieces of wood with great possibilities!

  • @strabbs1 I didn't say I don't like them! I said the ELECTRONICS (pickups) suck ass! The guitars themselves are well made toneful pieces of wood. They just need to be modded! Once they are modded with some premium pickups, tuners, and saddles....they rival any custom shop instrument!

  • @strabbs1 NEVER said I didn't like them! They are essentially well constructed pieces of wood with GREAT necks and frets!

The pickups, however,... SUCK!!! So do the cheap assed PING tuners!! Fender/Schaller locking tuners are direct drop in replacements...thank goodness!!

Once you swap out the pickups and put some quality stuff in there.....they become UNBELIEVABLE guitars!!

  • I LOVE the Highway One Stratocaster HSS!! I own 7 (??!!??) of them in ALL the available colors of the series! They are well built, resonant pieces of wood.

I do, however, have issues with 2 things:

THE PICKUPS: the humbucker totally bites ass!! Weak as hell with NO chunk!!

The SINGLE coils are thin, mousey, weak, and cheap sounding!

THE TUNERS: Fender pisses me off by putting those cheap assed PING tuners on here!

Once I got rid of the pickups and tuners....they became AWESOME guitars!

  • @rich655 Do you have the original highway one or the upgrade cause my highway one sounds great and comes with grover tuners.

  • "cos u have guitars that sound thick and huge yet still sparkly brilliantly when clean" YEH AND WHAT AMP ARE U PLAYING THRU! like a bloody 3000 dollar fender job

  • You can't go wrong with this guitar. Really! I've had mine for two years now and I just love how it feels, how it plays, how it looks and sounds. Mine is in the honey color and I love it. The CBS head and everything!

I think this guitar is better than the standard stratocaster because of it's sound range. Lovely guitar!

  • im not crazy about the sound of strats, but i like teles, do they often sound very alike?

  • should i get the highway one, american standard, or american deluxe, im talking about the strat. i already have an american deluxe tele.

  • i got mine for 500 dollars two years ago , i finished the down payment on my 13th brithday. i have a HW1 strat that is saphire blue laqor, it has the best core sound of any strat iv played, and i play mostly satriani, on a STRAT!

  • my hw1 tele has a real bad fret out and fret buzz on some frets, its that common,or does it just need set up?

  • needs set up.

  • wich strat is better? highway one or the american deluxe which is expensier?

  • how are the frets on the highway ones

  • Sales clerk at my local guitar center gave me a highway 1 tele for $580 since they didn't have any more sunburst mexican teles. :)

  • I recently bought a strat. The sound is indeed great and compared to a standart model sounds a bit more crunchy. The only problem i had to face was the tuning, but this can be fixed.

  • Is there a difference between the 2007 high way ones and the 2008, 2009, or soon 2010 ones? I really want to know cuz I am plan on buying one in January. Thank you :)

  • Stratdem, thanks for answering. Now here's something odd: in my country, highway 1 is quite cheaper than the american standard.

  • up until april 2009 the highway one sss standard strat list for $1,130 thats with no case. it cost you between $900 to $930 until fender drop there prices on most of there strats. the highway one is based after and old school strat none of this modern day useless shit fender put's on them today. like the S-1 switch and rolled frets simply useless shit to most strat players END OF STORY!

  • @stratdem What are the disadvantages with the S-1 switch?

  • Comment removed

  • bought mine for 699.99. standard price at all shops around.

  • thats the price now since fender drop the prices on most of the strats last year. last year around febuary/march/ april/ may 2009 right befor the price drop the highway one sss strat listed for $1,130 (no case) and your cost was $900 to $930

the price has also been droped on the new american standard and a few other strats.

  • Yo Stratdem have you heard about the new ''American Specials'',they are similar to the Highways but with texas special pick ups and withoutt he satinnitro finish,i think theyare only retailing these guitars for only 800 bucks in America right now

  • Are these guitars usa or mexican ?

  • @marc12marc USA at the corona factory in california. and the 2007 highway one sss strat is one of the most sought after strat because of there old school feel/tone versatility and there simply superior over the new american standards. there closer to the old school strats of years ago with a little more of a kick in the ass. but still holding on to that old school strat feel!

  • why the 2007 ? isn't the 2008 and 2009 upgraded still as good ? thanks for your imput.

  • its just somthing about the 2007 highway ones sss strat have and sound. the necks are a little thinner and the tones it produces is simply amazing. there just simply superior over the new american standards. i'm very lucky a happy i have 3 2007 highway sss strats there just a old school amazing strat!!!

  • Are you saying the 2007 is superior to the 2008-09 highway ones ?

  • marc12marc all i can tell ya that most pro guitarist want the 2007 highway one sss models.

  • @marc12marc USA

  • What are the differences between these and the american standards? I'm thinking of getting a highway one stratocaster, but I don't understand much of guitars, so i'd appreciate any help... Thanks..

  • @rholemos the highway one is tone superior over the new american standards and the sustain is much better than the new american standards and the fender highway one sss strat has a more of a old school strat feel. none of this useless S-1 switch and rolled fret edges simply useless bullshit to most pro and semi pro strat players. shit the strats of some years past did not have it all modern usless shit! try to find a 2007 highway one strat and good luck!

  • Really man 2007-2009 Highway Ones are same feel/tone. There's no such rumor about the 2007 series. All i could find was you spreding the word about the 2007 series. Nothing more. Got a Dez/2009 Sunbust/Mapple SSS. When I opened the backplate for tremolo ajusting was written with atomic pencil behind the springs "AmerSpec". Sweet hugh? All the series got its particularity, but not because you claim to have tree 2007's you can create this fantasy that they're the best in the world. Keep on Rockin!

  • Um,2007 was the upgrade year for hw1s.Upgraded pickups,electronics,bridge,and I think frets.

  • there simply blow the american standards off the face of the planet! the Alnico III pu's like i always said and so many others have to they belong in the in the same classic class as the orignal 1969's and the fender single coil X-1 pu's

  • @stratdem: Yeah... You're fucking stupid...

The Standard and the H1 are totally different. H1 works better with modern rock sound and that takes a lot from that ballsy sound that put the Strat on top. Standards are full of that sound.

And for everyone... All those commercials are crap. Those guitars are plugged in some amps that would make even a shovel sound good.

  • and your claim is total bullshit if i was you i would look around not only just youtube but theres alot of other sites that claim the same.

  • Yea I agree, I don't get why this guy's hyping about 2007 hw1 strats. Maybe he's trying to create hype for them so he can unload them lol.
