Why is the 48V battery needed. Why not a 12V battery?

it would be good ro use with a electronic scooter..when you leave it with a flick of a switch it could be charging when your not using it

Hi Can I buy a completed unit ,board or list of coponents from you .I run both a123s in a 53 volt pack and also sealed lead acid gells at 48 volts.This charger would help me a lot thanks .I love the vidieo .Thanks carl

Lol im a noob at this, So this board is turning 12Volts into 70+ Volts?

Couldn't that be used to save power?
