@delfiramaglia I remember the director said something about Zac still going through puberty while filming HSM 1, so when he would sing, his voice would sort of.. crack and sound weird. So they mashed Drew's voice with Zac's to make it sound more whole. :)

@jonnemesis11 this is actually not true. Zac sang we're all in this together himself. And the reason that he didn't sang himself wasn't because he was in puberty, but the songs were written before the actors were chosen. Zac is what is called in singing a bariton. A bariton can't sing very high notes, which are in very much of the high school musical songs, so Andrew Seeley sang some for him. In HSM2 and 3 the songs were created in his pitch, and he sang all of them himself.
