  • Always useful to store a few spare guitars behind the sofa :-)

  • Stevie is legend! Jimi and Stevie are two greatest musicians of all time!

  • The screaming of the ugly woman messes up the song!!!

  • @poep7777 , no it doesn't, it makes it funny!

  • @petejt awesome music video with the master of the blues rock boogie stratocaster mr.SRV

  • Love the X-ray!

  • Best video ever!

  • @chrislandrum62 the chick would look good if she would be a bit thinner

  • I'd rather live the rest of my life with the music than a tacky old woman.

  • This is good but live in Austin Texas is way better.

  • D'Artagnan and double trouble

  • i personally think hes fine!

  • what´s the name of the stevie´s guitar? is amazing

  • @panchomiyamoto i think it is a Hamilton

  • @panchomiyamoto Visit Eddie Vegas dot com and check out the 'Hamiltone'

  • @panchomiyamoto it is a Hamilton given to him by lead guitarist of ZZ Top, Billy Gibbons.

  • @panchomiyamoto The guitar in the video is a Hamilton, a gift from BIlly Gibbons (the guy from ZZ top), but SRV's trademark guitar was a sunburst Fender Stratocaster that he called "Number One"

  • Oh my god I'm in love with this music video x) all the comments below me, u guys r experts on guitar playing and the guitar itself aren't u? I've considered myself an intermediate till I read all that talk about pickups and sterocasters (I think that's how it's spelt since I can't see it :p) and it all sounds gibberish to me x( I need to do my research.

  • @Thatgirl0nutube yes, im an expert.

  • Benny hill at 2:57 !!!!

  • "U love that guitar more than u luv me..."

Story of my life... this is why I will NEVER date AGAIN.... =)

  • @SaratheSlytherin please

love a woman as you love your guitar

  • @Lebastian I can't find anyone who supports my guitar playing (and I don't suck or anything, my goal is to be on the professional level and I practice loads), almost all my ex bfs criticized me for loving the guitar too much and I felt bad about myself. But I like this video bc it reminds me apparently it happens to the best of them, lol!!

  • 2:28 look Jimi is behind.

  • funny!

  • abba and madonna are in the rrhof yet SRV isnt...fuck rolling stone magazine

  • @BookerDayton What I don't understand is how the hell he got ranked number 7 in the greatest guitar player of all time poll. Ok, I'm not going to say who I think should be number one because it's just an opinion, but I certainly think he deserved to be higher than number 7.

  • @SaratheSlytherin I mean ONLY number seven, I clarify he should be ranked higher than that.

  • @SaratheSlytherin yeah but remember it is an honor to even be on the list. i know what ya mean though, kurt cobain was 12 i think and joe perry is around 50 and i was like what the fuck and randy rhodes was so low to, its pretty bullshit,

  • @guitarzilla100 That's a good point guitarzilla. But Duane Allman got ranked above SRV? Duane Allman was really fab but better than SRV, no way. Everyone has their opinion but I just don't get it. :S

Still they must have been smoking their guitar picks when they put Kurt Cobain above Joe Perry. And SRV, Duane Allman, etc are household names... on the other hand there are some awesome guitarists that no one has even heard of, even Guitar World rarely mentions them.

  • @guitarzilla100 I'm a guitar player... I haven't given up being on the list someday. ;)

  • @SaratheSlytherin Never Give up. anyone that doesn't support your guitar playing is either jealous or plain doesn't get it. either way, screw 'em.

  • @thebizzard Thanks for the kind words bizzard. I've learnt that the people that matter, will support you. You're quite right!

  • @SaratheSlytherin haha yeah never give up but i as well am a guitar player and i WILL make it on the list.

  • @SaratheSlytherin by the way, i need your opinion as well as anyone else on here, what should i get, a gibson sg, a fender bassman or a hammond organ, they each come in 800-1200, 999, and 399 dollars, i really want all three but im torn, i need a 22 fret guitar, i need a more powerful and more quality amp, and i wanna goddamned organ.

  • @guitarzilla100 I hate dilemnas too! I'll be glad to help you. First of all, what equipment do you have now? What kind of guitar do you have? Do you already have an organ? What is your priority in music now?

  • @guitarzilla100 I hate dilemnas too! I'll be glad to help you. First of all, what equipment do you have now? What kind of guitar do you have? Do you already have an organ? What is your priority in music now? For example, if you're the lead guitarist in a band then the guitar and/or amp should be your priority. Also, I would try the instruments and equiment out and make sure that it's really part of your world, that's a huge investment.

  • @SaratheSlytherin yeah, the guitar and amp are the priority, i currently have a fender telecaster, its really great, i have vintage noisless pickups in it, and my amp is the fender frontman 212. i need a more quality, powerful amp and i need a guitar that has 22 frets and humbucking pickups soo i guess i need both of those. yeah, i tried them out at a local guitar store and all of them are kickass, the organ has a leslie speaker and its really loud.

  • @guitarzilla100 A Fender Telecaster with vintage pickups? I hate u. Just kidding!!

Oh man oh man I love vintage pickups. I love Stratocaster the most but I have cheated on my Stratocaster with Telecasters... I feel so guilty. Are you in a band now, by the way? What kind of music do you play? just curious

  • @SaratheSlytherin i like a bunch of different genres, my favorite being blues and rock, i like metal and the legit country music, not rascal flatts, my ideal band would be a band that played a blues rock very similar to clapton and jimmy page stuff. im starting to get a band together now, but we all have differing music tastes so well be playing stuff from avenged sevenfold to led zeppelin. basically a rock, metal, and slight blues, band. i think ill get the sg then sell some stuff and get

  • @guitarzilla100 bad company is bluesy rocky music not to sure about free and thin lizzy but have a look

  • @MrTheresnousernames yeah, i like all of those guys.

  • @SaratheSlytherin the hammond too. also, by vintgage noisless, those arent actually from like the 60's, theyre brand new but i think theyre made to the specifications of back then. it would be sweet to have pickups from the 60's though.

  • @SaratheSlytherin its just that the sg is more practical than the hammond, the hammond would be insane to bring to gigs and it wont be used as often as the sg. its still a sweet thing though. like i said, i think ill sell some videogames and other stuff to get it, its not that much at all. for the sg, i need the really powerful and sweet sounding neck pickup. i have a strat too but the intonation sucks and it cuts off a half step bend on all frets 12 and up on b and high e strings.

  • @SaratheSlytherin i went for the gibson and its great.

  • @guitarzilla100 800-1200, 999 and 399 respectively?

Have you tried them out in person? There may be something less expensive that you like even better!

You just have to prioritize, know that eventually you'll save up enough for all three. I'm in a similar dilemna because I want a bass guitar really badly, I have for years. Eventually I'll get one, but I've been playing leads and solos on elecrtic guitar for years... so getting stuff for my guitar is my priority. I hope this helps...

  • @SaratheSlytherin so yeah, im thinking about the order and its like this, the sg, the bassman, the hammond, but the hammond is soo cool cuz its from '35 and it works nearly perfectly.

  • @guitarzilla100 The Hammond sounds like a really rare heirloom. Now that you describe it to me, I'm favoring the Hammond. The sg and the bassman amp are probably more ubiquitous and you'll always be able to find something similar. The Hammond, on the other hand, is something that wouldn't be easy to replace.

  • @SaratheSlytherin im curious, what genre(s) of music do you play?

  • @guitarzilla100 I love blues the most! I think it's important to be versatile and all the music I love inspires me in some way, and I'm the queen of eclectic taste in music lol. My ideal band would be blues/rock with a latin flair. But it's so important to me to develop a mastery of all the genres... just get fluent in music. I always play classical guitar. I always loved blues, I discovered SRV as a little girl and this sounds kinda crazy but the music changed my life.

    What about you?

  • What is that guitar ? I've seen he using that, I thought he only used fender stratocaster...what's that?

  • @sweetscience85 Hamiltone custom guitars

  • @sweetscience85 Hamiltone, the guy from ZZ Top gave him one as a gift, if I'm not mistaken. But yeah, Number One (the beat up one) was a 1962 American Stratocaster

  • Listen to Cachaça Brou - Ballad of Boredom.
