it's not even funny anymore, 80% of all players take dk as captain, the rest baby bowser, wario or sometimes mutant-tyranha.

i've waited so long to see a good player using an agility captain - this time is over! you've changed my life Xx

Yepp, most people use DK, then there are some people with Yoshi, Mario, Wario or another strength character, but nearly no fast captains. I think one reason could be, that you have to play with goal warps (Daisy/Waluigi) or goal jumps (Peach/Diddy) instead of "normal goals" and many people don't like this way of playing.

Some people even quit when you do a single Toad Jump goal or a warp.

The goalie doesnt move on his own. You control him when he has the ball and press A to pass it or B to boot it out.

Yepp, you can't really control your goalie during the game, but when he has the ball, you can press A + a direction to throw the ball to a player in this direction. However, if you don't press any buttons, then he throws the ball to a random player.
