He's a beautiful dog. I have the same breed of Lab and color and he looks exactly like yours. Wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. They are brillant dogs. Mine trys to act like he's human.

It is not a pitbull mix. He's an English Standard Labrador Retriever. They are shorter, stockier and have square heads compared to the American Standard. They are also a lot mellower - which makes the Reggae on this clip all the more appropriate!

He must have pit in him, His ears come to more of a point that labs do and they aren't as thick as labs. Still a beautiful dog though. Very nice!

Thats what everybody keeps telling me about my Chocolate lab. Everyone thinks he's mixed with Pitbul. Until I get a DNA test done at Petco, where they can determine for sure weather or not he has Pit in him, I will not assume anything. Thats a cute dog, but naturally I think mines cuter.

i had a chocolate lab that passed away in december and mine drooled ALOT :)

One thing I would advise you do-have the vet check your dog's kidneys at your next visit...that's what mine died of...I dont want anyone else to have to have their dog suffer as much as mine did

i am so sorry to hear that, i cant imagine how you feel, i asked the vet, she said he just had big jowels, when he drinks, he always comes back with a long string of saliva, he,s only 3, so i will ask her, i have to take him in anyway, hes always shaking his ears, he had a hematoma in his ear,like a swollen fluid filled pocket, now its in the other ear, how old was your dog when they found this out

she was about 8 and 1/2 when they found out and by that time it was too late...

but we gave her as much love as we could and I know she had a great life

my dog had big jowels 2...and the problem was we have laminant flooring, so we couldnt get water on it or it would bunch up...and my dog drooled...alot lol

so we literally waited by until she stopped drinking and wiped her mouth off lol

have you gotten another dog, i look at my 2 chocolates, and cry thinking of the day they leave me, i love them so much, they go everywhere with me, everytime i go grocery shopping ,they get lamb chops or something, i know what it means to love an animal, i have more compassion for them than some humans, there so loyal

Yes, they have a very distinct attitude, personality. Each one is different but not that far... I am a cat person and I agree with you... my favourite cat is the ORANGE TABBY!! Not really a breed but that is it's popular name!!
