I am a Grobanite, since Josh was 17 years old.. but I ALSO appreciate this song so much, because I am a CANCER survivor. I had it when I was only 22 years old & trying to get pregnant, but found cancer instead..so everything had to go, but we were able to adopt our wonderful daughter & I am still alive, after more than 50 years later! My Maternal Grandmother Hazel Harried died of pancreatic cancer when I was just 7 it seems a lifetime's come and gone since then but I can still feel the pain as raw as the day it first hit

My granddaddy was a heavy smoker long before I was born in '91. Raised by a single mother w/o support from my biological father. Granddaddy was my father figure even after my mother married my step-father in '99. No more than two years after she married, Granddaddy passed at age 65. Before he was cremated, they made a last minute decision to do an autopsy b/c they hadn't done one. I lost Granddaddy due to undiagnosed lung cancer that had spread to his heart. It still hurts after all this time.

My husband was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease on Feb. 18th, 2009 and my son 3 weeks later with autism.

Josh's songs (especially Don't Give Up, You are Loved), have helped go through some of the toughest times since February. He is an angel sent from above, and I wish one day I'll be able to tell him how his songs are not only texts and music, but pure messages of hope.

Josh DOES sing "Imagine" as a solo, but I did enjoy hearing Joshua Bell (violin) and on the solo, for Josh.. it is located on the "Instant Karma" album, which was all going to charity. It is my understanding that John Lennon's widow wanted ONLY Josh to sing that song. He was asked. Josh sing's a lot of song's and believe me, we, who are FAN'S have been aware of his voice! I totally agree as we are nuts over Josh Groban, but we have several of Joshua Bell's album's also. He is absolute perfection and played for Josh' song in the CLOSER album..The song is "Mi Mancherai" from a movie, called "Il Postino" and I have seen it and read the subtitles, but Josua's violin is gorgeous on that album of Josh's.
