Making Ableton DJ effects rack- M Lovers DJ FX rack -Part 1

so i followed the tutorial and made the rack. very interesting and gave me a better understanding of how the fx work and also how to use the parameter values. i saved it as a preset. but this morning ableton says the saved preset is broken!!!. then i saw that the reack can be downloaded form your website.

working fine now. thanks so much. im glad i follwed the tutorial first and didnt just download it.

He Martijn ik heb nog even vraagje, en ik hoop dat jij daar het antwoord op heb, ik werk nu aan een soort DJ set met ableton alleen elke keer als ik een nummer in m'n audio rack gooi dan is het geluid weg, en moet ik helemaal in preferences mono aan of juist uit zetten bij output. weet jij hoe ik dit kan verhelpen? Vr. Grt. Vijay

Je hebt me al super geholpen. Heb nog wel 1 vraag: ik hoor om de zoveel tijd een kleine hapering als ik mn track af laat spelen. Heb gekeken, maar weet echt niet waar hij vandaan komt?

@Mup03 Haperingen in audio komen bijna altijd van de PC die moeite heeft met het verwerken van de audio. Een oplossing is de Buffer Size omhoog te zetten in de Audio latency voorkeuren van Ableton. Je PC heeft dan meer de tijd om te verwerken, dus geen hapering. Nadeel is wel dat er een kleine vertraging komt in het geluid. Zowiezo is het goed je PC te optimaliseren voor audio gebruik en ook vol te stoppen met RAM :-) Succes.

1 vraag nog, je stelt geen macromapping in voor het aanzetten van beat repeat, maar ik neem aan dat je die niet altijd aan laat staan op 1/6?

@DanielBombastic Jawel je laat hem altijd aanstaan op 1/6, dat is het slimme ervan. Want in de beatRepeat staat Tripletts uit, dus alle ritmevormen die triplet zijn, zoals 1/6 en 1/12 werken niet. Dus 1/6 is een mooie default positie dat de Beatrepeat wel gewoon aanstaan maar niks doet. Wel zo handig :-)
