A lot of people here seem to forget Titus did a lot of games that were based on some film or franchise, which 9 times out of ten put extreme demands on them. Superman 64 for example was not by a long shot what they wanted it to be. Rings and cars was all the filmstudio would okay, and the weird plot was devised by that same studio and forced on Titus because hitting actual people in a game might entice peopel to do it in real life. This game was also heavily censored by the studio.

my question is, how old is this game? If it's old, then it's understandable that the game would like this and have bad frame rates, I have played tons of games back in the day that would slow down, including Goldeneye for the N64, which even to this day, people will say it's one of the best FPS ever made. However, if this game is fairly new, then yes, the creators should be shot in the face.

Ahh what a shame. I would have liked for a solid 3d robocop game to have come out. Maybe someone will develop their own freeware version using some engine, it would be bound to perform better then this.

Only things I like from what I saw is that the targeting system is vaguely close to the movie version, pointing out targets which was nice... and the gun flip, a nice little touch, but those two points definitely don't save this :(.

This story is true. They couldn't move the copies it was so bad- but they made millions because it was E.T and everything E.T sold gangbusters back then. So the game is shit, no one can sell it, eventually Atari has all the copies gathered up and crated off and buried in a new mexico landfill.
