  • Thanks for uploading, but where is the first Part??

  • @0E1TPW The first part is not very interesting, so I didn't upload it.

  • Thanks man, I really appreciate you uploading this! Do you have more rare videos of the Fairlight?

  • @Audionized This was the most interesting vid I have. However, back in the mid 90's I bought the CMI IIx that belonged to J.J. Jeczalik (Art Of Noise) and I might put up some vids in the future.

By the way, the soundquality of this vid is pretty bad, a Fairlight sounds awesome in reality. (I used to be a vintage dealer and still am a collector, so I did a whole lot of investigating and comparing.)

  • @FairlightIIx It would be great if you do that sometime! Fairlight is a fascinating machine.

  • @FairlightIIx Do you have also the library from J.J. Jeczalik? Please make some videos of the fairlight

  • Excellent material, amazing to see the old machine at work. Lovely live violin there too. I have made the Fairlight IIx library available for Reason and I think it's an amazing sound collection to work with even today, 30 years later.

  • @bitleyTM In my opinion a CMI is very underestimated. Most see it as a sampler, but it's an awesome synth. The only bad thing are the 8" floppies. As soon as I manage to get an upgrade to more modern storage, I plan to make some demo vids of it's potential as a synth.
