One of my things I like about this game that few realize is, how easy the interface and controls are. Commanding a unit(s) future actions was a great improvement in any RTS. The controls are also easy to memorize and the buttons have universal actions.

This game is simply a Total annihilation (1997 pc game) modernized, and i can say, from the bottom of my heart, this is trash compared to it, if you ant a good rts game, look for the spring version of total annihilation, as the graphics are better and unit cap is 5000.

I'm (like others) considering to buy SupCom2 for the xbox360 because I'm a huge fan of SupCom and the xbox, but I'm also interested in the pc version and I only want to buy one. So now I have a dew questions:

1. Do you prefere any version above the other?

2. What version do you advise to people?

3. Are the sound bugs really annoying?

4. Are the controls easy to get used to?

1.I have a the xbox version but i prefer pc because you can play 4v4 and 3v3 supremacy matches instead of just 2v2 and 1v1 and the unit cap is larger. the xboxes unit cap is 250 on pc its 500

@ruffwhojoo but be warned. not much ppl play online on xbox360 anymore cuz of glitches (or cheats whatever you go with) and you cant team with friends unless you keep spamming exit till someone else joins on the opposing team of your friend. there are bugs also.. hope you like supcom 2 though

halo wars is a good game to get u started on strategy games thats how i got

into strategy games then i worked my way up to the command and conquer games

and after that i started playing supreme commander 2 .

and i give the halo wars an 8.5 out of 10 its not such a bad game

2: Is it a functional RTS or has the game been dumbed down as I have heard.

1: The game was built on it's own engine specifically for the xbox 360, it runs at a straight 60 fps even with massive battles going on.

2: The unit cap is now only 200 in multiplayer but don't be fooled, the cap doesn't prevent battles from lasting just as long as the pc version.

3: There have been some issues with UEF gunships and Soul rippers being way too strong, other then that the everything else is quite balanced.

4: The game completely dominates any other console rts out.

@f0nn1x No one plays the game anymore because people found out some stupide cheats in the game.. there are bugs in the game... sound glitches... You can't even team up with a friend and then join a 2vs2 battle online.. u need 2 have atleast 4 friends, and then make a private game.. you can't go with one of your best buddies and then play agains 2 random guys... They messed up the entire game, and i think that is very sad :(

Its worth getting. I played supcom 1 on the 360 and it was awesome, but had no one online and lagged quite alot. This one doesnt have the huge experimentals but it is a better game, easier to pick up and play and takes alot less time to get the fight going.

Plus, on the first an experimental could take on an army of 150, on this one it more like 20-30 depending on the experimental, which is b etter balanced in terms of what it costs to make each. And the maps are very awesome.

supcom 1 was my first rts and after that all other ones i tried just werent as good, ESPECIALY halo wars its was ok but no strategy was required its always just this contest of who can rush faster

Jesus this is nothing like Halo Wars, there's no tactics or stratergy involved in Halo Wars, for this on the other hand every moment is a challenge and have to be prepared for anything and this is nothing compared to Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

My first RTS was Command and Conquer Red Alert 2, never played Yuri's Revenge, and I still play Generals: Zero Hour, especially seing how my xbox is being fixed right now. But i already picked this game up, looks great. BTW, if anyone is looking for a great RTS on PC, Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour is great, I think you can get like 11 games for 20 bucks at walmart, all the first C&C. Sure its old (2003) but who cares?
