This is the airline that landed the following year in Kuwait two hours after the Iraq invasion in order to land British undercover military operatives, risking the lives of over 350 passengers.
The same airline whose senior management threatened a British HIV positive passenger with arrest unless he left the relative security of the transit hotel in Kuwait to report to an Iraqi controlled hospital.

This aircraft was recently involved in a serious incident during take off from Johannesburg. Apparently, a problem with the inboard reverse thrusters caused the leading edge flaps to retract causing a loss of lift in the early stages of take off. The pilot had to level of at around 30 feet to gain enough speed to climb. They dumped fuel for 2 hours and landed back at Johannesburg.
Thats not too serious......Serious is a crash or something that could have resulted in a huge catastrophic event. Also he wasn't at 30 feet it was 130.
