  • i think when people demonstrate they should actually demonstarte with a reasonable amount of weight to not mislead beginners, with this you should be easily pushing within about 17.5kilo if a beginner or upto 25-30kilo with advanced, alot of you're power comes from your chest to push with this and i would advice to use only 7.5-10kilo less than your dumbell press

  • No, hes doing a different dumbell fly, these are bent arm flies. With this type, you should do heavier weights, and is puts less strain on the shoulders than straight arm flies.

  • Sorry but those are more dumbbell presses than they are dumbbell flies. Your elbows are bent to about 90 degrees and you're pressing them back up. With dumbbell flies, your elbows are supposed to be slightly bent and more or less maintained that way throughout the workout. The arms should pivot around the shoulders to clamp the dumbbells up rather than pressing them.

    I know no one likes to be corrected but I thought it'd just be some helpful advice.
