for all those saying the jumps are to high he jumps it so big, it is very common in young horses, even older ones to over jump if they are not used to in or it looks bigger then it is from the ground. If he was afraid of it he wouldn't jump. he would refuse the jump by swerving around it or backing up and going the other way.

@Myseena55 Rapping is when someone stands at a jump, and when the horse jumps it, the person brings up a stick (usually bamboo) and hits the horses legs with it. Done repeatedly, it makes the horse anxious that if he does not jump very high he will hit the jump (get hit). It's banned by the FEI at shows, but you can't stop people doing it on their own properties

Naja, schön siehts teilweise nicht aus, da das Pferd übern Sprung total den Rücken wegdrückt, ob es gebarrt wurde oder nicht, darüber lässt sich streiten.

Ausserdem heißt es nicht das die Pferde höher springen als sie müssten, nur weil sie gebarrt wurden. Viele Pferde springen auch mal höher als sie müssen, und die meisten Pferde springen beim freispringen sowieso höher als unterm Sattel.

Doch es gibt Pferde die sehrwohl freiwillig so hoch springen,ohne das einer mit der Peitsche nebenan steht......ich hatte auch so einen und ich hatte ihn als Fohlen und versichere das dabei niemals nachgeholfen worden ist.

Und davon mal abgesehen ist diese Technik nicht wünschenswert...1.Musste erst mal sitzen können.2.Verbraucht sie viel zuviel Energie.
