@mixcatcom I don't know if you do any gaming, but I used fraps to record my ingame videos and hypercam 3 for all my other capture on my desktop (fraps only does games, and hypercam can do everything but games). I haven't tried subfuzions "Wink" suggestion yet, I will soon to see if I like it. But if you do more screen capture keep these in mind to. (Also keep in mind you can torrent the full version of fraps, and use the hypercam universal key for full versions).
I've not used xp64, but I did run vista for a year and w7 for around 4 months.
Prior I had been running linux-based os's primarily for about 2 years. So the whole UAC, and user elavation thing isn't new to me personally, but I do know it bugs the hell out of many people.
Sadly the first thing people do is disable it, which is dumb. Kinda like having body armor and not wearing it in a firefight because its annoying ;]
Anyway, programmers really need to work on not require administrative privileges to perform tasks, there are "relay" services, and perhaps microsoft should work to expand the areas of this as well.
Especially when you talk about programs connecting to the internet that need admin access. The company may have no ill intentions, but someone else usually does. It's a huge thing with game design right now, and Just as a programmer dear to my heart :P
where would you find those rights you agreed to?

BTW! Google "Wink", i believe its the 2nd result.
You definitely have some video skills, and This software is a great and free tool to do really simple desktop capture.
I was DAMN surprised this software is free. Like no joke, it compares to the $200+ softtare.
Just something to consider playing with to get better presentation quality of things from your computer.

I agree 100% well said..
The issue I ran into was the driver never gave an error, everything installed like it should work.
So I was pulling my hair out thinking what in the world? Its and Microsoft cam on a Microsoft OS how can this not work..? lol
Rights are very important.
