very cool. is the blur feature new? I don't think i've ever seen that; I usually end up doing horrible blurs by hand with the polar gradient (they don't look nearly as nice as the ones you did with the blur tool).

also, tiny nitpick :D ...

wouldn't it make more sense to slide the front panel of the folder by double clicking it & sliding the top arrow? then the two sides would be parallel.

the blur feature was added to version 0.45. it is without a doubt my most widely used feature.

your question: yes, it does make sense to do it that way. the more that i use inkscape the more efficient i get at it. i rarely draw the same way that i had drawn 3 weeks ago. i bet there are 10 ways of putting on a band-aid too.

believe me...i know about the volume problem. i have not figured out an efficient way to increase it yet windows or linux without distortion. i need mp3gain for video audio. any tips would be appreciated.

Well done. I like the way you use the right-click menues rather than shortcuts. That makes the viewer understand how you did things better.
