Marriage is a 6,000 year old tradition and the founding fathers knew about it when they developed the Constitution. Gays can call their private contracts gayrriage for all I care...but the Government had no business sanctioning and sticking their nose in marriage. Its a private contract. I am a private individual and the Government should not be sanctioning my contract or anyone else's so I am not going to compound that mistake.

By the way, the next great President is going to be a John/Jane Doe type as Dennis Miller pointed out. It's not going to be someone entrenched in current Washingotn politics and given the fact that Palin is so successful as a private American with a lot of power scoring $10M for a book and a fat contract with Fox News, one wonders why she would even want to be tied down to a position earning $400K per year when she's essentially more powerful than he is. We don't know who the next Pres. will be.

fact: palin hired a school friend as head of Agriculture on the basis of liking cows, left the town of Wasilla in debt, quit 5 colleges, quit as Governor, used 60k of that PAC money to buy her own book and filter the money back to herself. Shes only popular because she is a train wreck and Dems laugh at her

Fact: Palin hired someone capable as the head of Agriculture. Tell me, what bad came of that appointment? The debt in Wasilla was SECURED debt which the taxpayers agreed to a .5% sales tax increase in a vote to pay for it over the years -- which they did and now that town is the second most booming town in the state. She didn't quit college, she graduated a state level university and PAID FOR ALL OF IT herself unlike some others who use affirmative action and financial aid to do it.

A dairy farm ended up closing down. Thats what happened. What about her bridge to nowhere? She did quit 5 colleges. Look it up. She graduated with a degree in communcations...yes..which is sad considering she cant speak a complete sentence coherently

Like a real American, she took semesters off to work and PAY FOR IT HERSELF. And she gives entire speeches with 5 words scribbled on her hands....so based on the substance of Obama's teleprompter and Hillary's wifely skills (or lack therof, ask Monica) you're the one lacking....not Sarah.

Fact: After abusing the Alaska Ethics Act which was developed by Palin to promote transparency, liberals cost the state millions of dollars by accusing that priviledge by filing 18 ethics complaints in one year on their mission to push her out. When she resigned, they thought the beat her...but when she turned it around on their asses and became more powerful than the President, they got a wake up call. And look where you are today, in a forum talking about Sarah. Looks like the joke is on you.
