good question. you would both quit your game and save. the next when you wanted to play, he would invite you to a game and as long as he didnt play further without you then you would continue from the exact same point with all your same weapons and items

hey man this may sound stupid but how do i join a coop game with a friend online from ps3. i can't figure it out. odd

Go to multiplayer.. then on top select partner i think somthing like that, then wile you see the schreen with chris in it searching for somthing press the Playstation logo button on your controller and go to your friends list.. click your friend with triangle i bealive and send an invite.. yhen just wait a bit. You both have to have the demo instald.

i just looked and cant find any demo -,-, really sux i got re 1 to 3 tho on my ps2 :P and 3 also on the pc where its alot better o well just gonna save till i can buy it and gta iv

Small question about cut sceens on online co-op.

If one player tells it to skip, does it ask the other player? or does it just skip instantly?

I have played online once and was not sure wheither the other player wanted to watch or not :(

if one person tries to skip, the cutscene will continue to play until the other person pushes the skip button.

I loved this demo, the graphics rocked, enemies kewpt comming and the best part, the enemies with chainsaws and giant axes don't fall. Not even a gernade will bring them to the ground. Very intense.

The chainsaw and big axe dude both can die, it just takes a lot of hits. You actually need to kill the chainsaw dude to finish the second part (he drops the key).

Yeah i know. The chainsaw guy i killed a bunch of times, but i only killed the big axe dude once. Every other time he just wouldn't quit.

I really don't like the real time and limited space inventory. It's survivable in SP, but online, with random strangers and w/o voice chat, you end up standing there trying to give ammo while a bunch of angry villagers are getting ready to gangbang you.

But the demo's still a lot smoother than I'd expected for the first online coop RE. Not as fun as RE4 for several subtle reasons, but still pretty good. I ended up using control TypeA anyway, so this like RE4 with a prettier face.

Yeah, I agree. But you can use the D-Pad to quickly equip items, then press the appropriate button to give (mine is O).

I just wish you could reload without aiming, and move while shooting!

Yeah, I found out it's better to equip an item, then run up to your partner and mash O.

And funny enough, the reloading w/o aiming and moving while shooting were my first gripes when I first started RE4. I hated RE4 so much because of that, but I eventually learned to adjust my style to take advantage of what was given. So now I miss RE4 a bit when I'm playing RE5 XD.

IIRC, the GC demo of RE4 allowed you to reload in inventory. And you can tell it's a Japanese shooter, because the characters all forget how to use their legs as soon as they move their arms.

They REALLY need to expand the inventory though. No way am I playing a survival horror w/o my hammer space. I could deal w/ the real time inv. because I like the urgency it adds. Makes it more exciting.
