Yes I faced the same problem. I don't know why they don't give you one so I ordered a cheap one of amazon and it works exactly the same as the expensive ones :)

verry nice unboxing, but i have a question. Why they dont give the HDMI cable. I bought the dvd player today, and no cable. I also have a 3D Tv. A samsung.

Haha, that's not a stupid question! Anyway unfortunately you do need a 3D television to use the 3D feature.... Sorry...
