I find this rather scary. The world is overpopulated as it is even with people dying. To eliminate the most fundamental aspect of life would be a travesty. Life ends, bodies reconstitute the Earth, become soil, cause plants to grow. Remove any extant species from this process, and the web of life falls apart.

I don't know what I would think, but I have always thought this to be more in the realm of science fiction. There is so much that could go wrong because we have eliminated ourselves too far from the natural process.
