According to all of the quizzes I took, I highly resemble Russia... I just now realized that I can imitate this laugh and aura almost perfectly... kolkolkol....
There is also the possibility that Russia could be issuing a warning to others. 'Kolokol' means 'bell' in Russian, and 'kol' is often used as an onomatopoeia in Russian for the tolling of a bell, a centuries-old designation of approaching danger.
Another interpretation offered by the Japanese fandom is that "kolkolkol" is "korukorukoru", which sounds similar to "korosu", the Japanese word referring to killing.
Tzar Ivan The Terrible's favorite way to deal with disobedience was impaling. 'To impale', pronounced in Russian as сажать на кол (sazhat' na kol), or just на кол 'na kol' is easily understood. So, Russia is possibly trying to intimidate people by the threat of impalement, although he is saying the noun 'kol' (which means 'stake', in this context being thrust towards a person).
When Russia is upset, he uses the chant "KolKolKol" to threaten and frighten others into submission. However, there has been speculation that there are other possible meanings for 'kol' than those involving kolkhoz:
@asgdffdresradggdfref uh if I got this information correctly, Kol Kol is supposed to represent the tolling of a bell. It also means to stab or stake. I think there is a third meaning to it but I'm not sure. Hope this helps.
One of the ways "kolkol" can be translated is to "korokoro" which might be short for "Koroshi" which does, in fact, mean "murder" or "to kill" in Japanese. >:D

@RussianLuvr1 Man I wish my history teachers were like that. The only fun thing we got to do was when we were learning about war tactics and no man's land on the section of WWs. We split the room in half and there were two teams. We had a paper ball war and if you got hit you "died" I hid for the first half of the "war" and then I joined the second wave and we won because the other team had used up all their soldiers in on attack. XD But that was when the actual teacher was gone.
Respond to this video... I don't know why but I'm not scared when I see him doing that but if I'm a room by myself and I hear that, (my sister does it to me all the time, especially when I'm doing dishes) I think he's going to kill me. I get scared when I just hear the kol kol and i don't see where the source is.
My math teacher gives us homework every single day, so I mumble "kolkolkolkolkolkol" while I do my homework... My mom knows the show, so she doesn't think I'm cussing or something like dad does...

Well, kolokol means bell in russian, but Kolokol-1 [the more common use of it] is a chemical warfare agent

Actually, Russia's laugh is based off of Kolkhoz...I dunno if I spelled that right.
But that was the name of farms in Russia during the 1930's. If you don't believe me, it was in the Hetalia Movie, in the extras. (If you bought it.)
