I applaud it's inventors. maybe they can get the arms working & then parapalegic people could just have a spinal tap with sensors to control the unit making them functional again. it takes baby steps & this is only one of them.

It was designed for factory workers that were on their feet all day, as a "labour saving device". Bullshit.

It should be used as "The Millennium Wheelchair" or as a "Physiotherapy Machine".

Actually I've had the idea to invent something far better than this but have no budget to build it. If you check the IBOT wheelchair you'll see the mechanism by which a heavy wheelchair can stand and keep balance on 2 wheels with the person on it.

My invention will use the same technology combined with a microprocessor and a body-tight robotic hand-assistant, waist-support and leg-support to keep a partially paralized person upright and help him walk forward balanced based on his height/weight.
