  • Quizas no sea tan conocido como se merece, pero es amado y respetado por gente de la industria y millones de seguidores en muchas par

    te del mundo.

  • Unquestionably THE best cover of this EVER !!

  • es un genio, que pena que no sea tan conocido como tendría que ser

  • Chills...chills...chills...(tears of joy)..more chills..thanks Jose for this stunning version)

    Californian native here, btw.

  • Jose - the Finest !!! .

  • I prefer this version to the Beach Boys' cover, and like it just as much as the original.

  • I love this version of this classic song !!! It is haunting and has a life of its own !!!

  • One of the best pop song ever...(Thank you John Phillips!) There are many artists who have recorded this but, as far as I can see, there are really only two interpretations: by the Mamas and Papas and by Jose Feliciano. Queen Latifah lifts the Feliciano arrangement almost note for note...it is very nice, just not original. The Beach Boys?...true, nice guitar work but Jose...a great artist!

  • When I feel like having goosebumps, I come back to Jose Feliciano. Sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear him. Master class!

  • Just perfect

  • all the leaves are brown and the sky is grey I've been for a walk on a winter's day I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A California Dreamin' on such a winter's day stopped into a church I passed along the way well, I got down on my knees and I pretend to pray you know the preacher likes the cold he knows I'm gonna stay California Dreamin' on such a winter's day all the leaves ... if I didn't tell her I could leave today California Dreamin' on such a winter's day
  • BRAVO MR. JOSE FELICIANO, YOU ARE A HELL OF A SINGER, YOU SING WITH YOUR HEART AND SOUL, GOD BLESS YOU JOSÉ; A FAN FROM GUANAJUATO, MEXICO!!!!

  • The Reeem!!!

  • Feliciano used to have a club down in Orange County, California (circa; 1971) called (surprise?) Feliciano's. My friends and I would spend alot of time there dancing and when Jose appearing (with some frequency) we'd always catch his show and usually get to stick around for the 2nd performance because, honestly, there were nights when not many were around so they'd let us stay. The guy really was good and could play all kinds of gutiars but he WOULD not play Light My Fire, period.

  • so soulful !!!!

  • Yes that is it. Jose puts heart and soul into his music and you can FEEL it.

    beautiful !!!

  • Jose puts so much of his soul into this song Beautifull

  • I have always been there as a great fan since you first came on to the scene......Bravissimo!!!!

  • great job jose.................bravo !

  • Found this by coincidence on my itunes, I was immediatly struck with the beauty of this song!

  • i like the adlib..very nice.

  • I love to dance rumba to this song.

  • se escucha grandioso

  • @piercethevale LOL!!!!!!!!

  • This blows me away.

  • My son was born on his birthday in 1992. I have always loved Jose's soulful sound. Thanks for posting.

  • Although a great and accomplished songwriter in his own right...NOBODY can cover a song and make it his own better than Jose Feliciano!!!! His version of a number of covered songs are far better than their originals. He has a way of delving into the chords of a song and really making the listener FEEL the lyrics...amazing man and musician...Vaya Boricua!

  • My favourite version of this this song. I bought this album over 30 years ago and it still sounds great today.

  • I thought the Mamas & Papas got it from him?

  • I lke this version a lot. Thank you for sharing.

  • very nice version, thank you sir, feliciano

  • thx for sharing

  • This brings me to tears that it's so amazing. I hate that I was born in the wrong era.

  • This brings me to tears that it's so amazing. I hate that I was born in the wrong era.

  • there is always 1 cretin who dislikes beautiful music

  • beautiful !

  • This Cover of California Dreaming by Jose Feliciano is dedicated to 2 buddies in London (Segun Oseni and Segun Odubanjo) and all of them in the Northeast Of The USA feeling the terrible bite of the ol' man winter. Atikori & Lagos Dreamin' LMAO.

  • this is a truly beautiful version of this song!!!

  • Lovely version! Thanks for posting!

  • from a guy that has never seen a guitar.. wow..

  • just a pure classic

  • Great album. Awesome cover. Thanx!! :)

  • yes, it is nostalgic, melancholic. this is why ai like it so much.

  • MEMORiES ..

  • Jose is bad! I love it when he broke it down in Espanol!! That was hot!!!!

  • @dognasty3 - Completely Agree.

  • @dognasty3 Yeah, it was incredible. For me, that's when he really put his stamp on the song.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this!! Such a nostalgic version, loving it!!

  • I still have this album....from my youth........fond memories. :-)x

  • DİNLEDİĞİNİZDE HATIRLAYACAKSINIZ YILLARCA DEĞİŞİK FORMLARA GİRMİŞ BİR KLASİK...

  • Beautiful version!

  • CLASSIC song. I prefer this version to the Beach Boys' cover, and like it just as much as the Mamas & Papas original. A very smooth, laid-back, and sentimental piece, without question. Thank you VERY much for uploading this... if only YouTube could have more videos of songs like these as opposed to all of the Li'l Wayne, Soulja Boy, D4L, Li'l Wyte and Ying Yang Twins bullshit. :-(

  • ♥ .

  • @MrMLD72MLD ♥ to you too lol. Thanks for the share, I spent many romantic moments with my first Husband to this album.....still have it. :-) x

  • For my friend SF

  • Arguably the best cover version of the Mamas & Papas classic. The Beach Boys did a great version in 1986.

  • @peeterpoon imo next to the mamas and the papas, this is the best version

  • @fredstrife We agree, Fred! Thanks for replying to my comment.

  • @peeterpoon , i agree Boby Womacks is also very good!!!

  • @peeterpoon You are correct sir...I've heard many versions, this one is sweet!

  • @peeterpoon No arguement my friend. It is "the best" cover of this tune that I can remember. It's full of Latin Soul and intensely beautiful. I don't think that this fine artist has EVER been given the full credit that he deserves. I just love the brotha's voice. It rocks baby. Peace. :)

  • lovely, thank you for this gentle song rovingeye2

    melancholic is it not..

  • :D :D ...nice post.....
