  • Great show, only one I have on tape was the one about star trek always wished I had recorded more,,,best opening ever!

  • I miss this show does anyone have any episodes transferred to DVD? I would love to buy or trade

  • @Backsasser Send me a PM at videoholic1 at yahoo, maybe we can work something out - I can transfer these to DVD, and I have about 9 3-hour tapes of this great show!!

  • More confirmation that this was something I didn't dream up. For the longest time, I was trying to remember if this show actually aired or if it was something I dreamt when I was 4 (only for some reason, I was thinking the title was "Instant Replay" and had 1991-era NBC News graphics).

  • @ChristianTVArchive Believe me, you did NOT dream this up!! I loved this show and the slick way that it was presented, and have over 30 hours of it on tape, to this day!!!

  • This show was awesome. Only got to watch it every now and then because it was on at 11 am PST when I was in school. Waaay more educational than 7th grade, ironically!

  • I agree with both garrisonskunk & mphs95...very good show & very sad it died back then...seems like my man garrisonskunk knows the in's & outs of the series history very well. Back then I tried to hurry home to watch it & missed alot of episodes..no VCR for me back then; they cost too much then...the early(mid 90's I think)datelines were good too...probably stole the time capsule idea from Instant Recall but it was an NBC show I guess...no in depth reporting/commentary like this anymore...sad

  • I remember this show! I loved it. This was great to see and glad it wasn't forgotten

  • This was a very good show which WNBC in New York buried in the middle of the night, quite possibly dooming it to it's demise after only one season. Early episodes had two stories and two 'time capsules' show casing the time frame. Later episodes would abandon the 'time capsules' and air three segments, two major ones and one to end the show with.
