  • Don't defend Jordan. We all know he was a great player, and everyone should respect his basketball talent.

But its HARD to respect him as a person. He beat his wife, huge showoff, and talked shit during his hall of fame speech. He's an asshole and most likely always will be.

  • @Clementsfootball08 Brother I'm in the Millitary..n I can tell u right now.. There's nice guys and friends that you just to love hang out, chill and take with you to a bar, baseball game and bring with you to a bbq with Mom and Dad. And there's complete Assholes, that you'd NEVER want to hang out with in a casual and socialize event....but will TAKE with you to War ANYDAY....Trust me, when it comes to training and War..it always pay to have that One Asshole on ur squad ; )

  • @ShaolinSurfer777 perfectly said, but half these knuckleheads here don't get it.

  • @Clementsfootball08 And Michael Jordan happens to be that Asshole plus the Special Talent. Just like War, if you're a Franchise player in Sports..your job is NOT TO MAKE FRIENDS...its to make your Teammates better. Thats why its awesome to have a Michael Jordan in your squad...especially when it comes to Practices. Thats the problem with this generation, we got Pussy Superstars whod rather be like by their teammates instead of getting in their faces and raising hell in practices.

  • @Clementsfootball08 Tough Loves ALWAYS pays off in Sports, Combat and Competition mi Amigo....Remember that

  • if lebron was tough like this on his teammates would he have a ring by now???

  • loooool at all the stans defending him. Yes, Jordan is the GOAT, but he was a SHIT teammate, dont ever kid yourself he wasnt.

  • 1 word: DISCIPLINE. Havent you ever wondered why they all respect jordan and they all made sure they didnt make mistakes? Its because Michael jordan was there providing the DISCIPLINE while Phil was providing the Guidance and Mentorship.

  • Yeah I'd be brawling with MJ cause my father don't even hit me so how the hell is someone nigga gonna hit me?

  • i understand his hunger to win. but hitting a teammate? that's a little bitch move.

and to pick on the smallest guy on the court. wow, tough guy Jordan is. he only weighs 50-60lbs less than Jordan lol.

and steve didn't even start it. why not punch phil jackson if you didn't like his decision.

  • @fuglybon Its a whack not a fucking knock out punch, calm down its basketball if you havent notice. Jordan didnt like phil's decision giving steve the plays and not him, cus he is usually the leader of the bulls carrying them to there championships and wins. They were both playing agressively and physically during practice and jordan heated up and whacked him. In the end theyre both team mates and do make up, and if you havent notice many teammates get into fights in the NBA during practice

  • where can I see the rest of this...

  • This is what made MJ the best to ever play the game. If he didnt have that competitive fire then he wouldnt be the standard by which basketball excellence is measured. He wasnt going out there every night trying to make friends, he was trying to win!! And thats exactly what he did. Love him or hate him you cant deny his greatness.

  • phew...i'm still not a jordan fan.

    Thank you THOR!

  • @Xcoming2 So??? He is still the greatest!

  • @Domini478 nope. stop kissing his back side.

  • @WineBeerLover I don't believe for one second that MJ would have never gotten a ring. He was too hungry. It is actually the other way around that most ppl think they know. MJ commanded his team to a whole ither level that they would have never gotten to if he wasn't there to push & challenge them. Especially pippen the pistons & knicks made him lose his confidence and it was MJ that made him the player he became. So i dared to disagree PLUS i proved your little theory wrong.

  • you see that were to be Lebron, man, he would of been the most hated..F*** the media

  • @Stevenhappycock lol so true... lebron gets so much hate but hes actually a good person, micheal is the worst jerk n he gets so much credit n no hate..

ppl r gettting it so wrong

  • It can be tough to be the vocal leader of a team because there are so many personalities that have to be dealt with. Things get even more tough when all of the guys are grown men and professional players. Not everyone responds well to yelling. That's a reason for why guys like Kevin Garnett catch so much heat. When the best player on the team is the most vocal and competitive player, the expectations go WAAAAY up.

  • @9elephant9 you need to stop with that dumbass comment it makes no sense faggot yo ass can.t dunk

  • @WineBeerLover I'm a born Bostonian living in Chicago and i've been in love with the windy city since i moved here in the early nineties! Would love to see the Celtics kick the Heats' ass. But i'm REALLY pulling for the Bulls! If they win it all i'm gonna get WICKED hammered!

  • @dkthg

Haha your username made this post 100 times better!

  • @BurnNotice015 okaaaaaay......?

  • @BurnNotice015 My bad I meant that to WineBeerLover lol

  • @WineBeerLover I agree wholeheartedly! Now sit down and buy me a glass of winebeer! GO BULLS 2011 champs!

  • I would've never lasted in MJ's Bulls... it's too great :P

  • shoot.. jordan can punch me if he wins me 6 rings lol

  • @GarrettGilbertSon ... I Guess The Statement Below This One Proves That Point Correctly...Ahaha

  • @GarrettGilbertSon LeBron ain't shit compared to Jordan though.

  • Jordan was always a bully.

  • @SoulfulLova That's not a very soulful thing to say.

  • @dkthg So what would be a "soulful" thing to say? Ahh Jordan was my nigga, he was great!!! Is that a bit more soulful for you :)?

  • @SoulfulLova Not quite. Say what you just said but say it through autotune, now THAT'S soulful!!

  • @dkthg Lol, autotune is the furthest thing from Soulful lady :)

  • If anything, Scottie Pippen was the TRUE leader of the Bulls dynasty Not Michael. He was the guy with superstar talent that was willing to sacrafice, he was the guy that encourage and motivated his teammates, He was the guy that was willing to get in MJs face at times, he was the guy that his teammates can talk to if they have a problem with Michael and don't wanna say it in front of his face.

  • @ShaolinSurfer777 During the first 3 peat Jordan was the UNQUESTIONED leader of those teams. During the second 3 peat, MJ and Pip shared the leadership in diferent ways: Jordan lead by his actions and Pip was the emotional core of that team: cocky, easygoing, getting everyone involved.

  • @dkthg MJ was always the main reason why Da Bulls won.

  • @rob23molina Lebron is the main reason da Bulls won! Scottie said so!

  • @ShaolinSurfer777 Jordan made Scottie. You aren't informed.

Scottie owed his offensive game to MJ. He owes a lot to MJ.

  • @bio2020 no... Scottie made Scottie. Jordan coached and mentored him, but ultimately Scottie had to be the one to put in the extra hours of work, blood, sweat and tears on his own merit which is why he stuck out ALONGSIDE of Jordan much more than anyone else ever did. He could have faded into a role player position, but instead consistently stepped up his game in various aspects... unlike MOST others.

  • @ItoDaigoro i believe if not for jordan scottie never would have relized his true potential though. Jordan saw pippen was good and pushed him until Scottie relized how good he could be.

  • @ItoDaigoro Uhm.........what you just wrote means MJ made pippen. MJ always kept the standard high & pippen did his best because MJ commanded it of all his teammates. That's why he is the G.O.A.T.

  • @ShaolinSurfer777 I disagree with this stupid ass post. MJ was always the team. MJ was the leader and your a fool if thought anyone would get in MJ's face. Also his team didn't need to be motivated MJ set the standard & that was it.

  • @GarrettGilbertSon Jordan had 3 rings by this point! how many does Lebron have?

  • @Rwinne1 STFU Stupid!

  • @Rwinne1 I don't think it makes a difference when or at what point you get your first ring. It stupid when ppl say well he got his ring at this age while this person did it 2 yrs earlier. Doesn't mean shit.

  • @Rwinne1 Actually......... Jordan had 0 rings at this point....... just like Lebron......... Lebron is 26... Jordan was 27-28 when he got his first ring..........

  • @xxwhatevahxx Judging by age is slanted seeing as MJ didn't jump straight from High-School to the NBA.. So the years to compare are league years not age, in which Jordan is a champion by this point in his career going on to his second as far as the 7th year debate goes

  • i wonder what aee his thoughts on toni kukoc?

  • @leadiceman22 you know I always wondered the same thing. what Jordan thought of Kukoc.

  • @frusionnn i know what SP thought of TK, SP is a dick, and very selfish. So i think that MJ though TK as a equal, but maybe a little jealous

  • @laziogoalie6

Why should he? They're teammates, not friends. it's not like he was hanging out with Scottie, Horace, Cartwright, or Paxson. Jordan had his own circle of friends and all his teammates weren't necessarily a part of that. He had a few teammates like Oakley who he would hang out with, but why is it necessary for him to have every one of his teammates phone numbers.

  • According to Red Auerbach's book Let Me Tell You a Story, it says that Jordan also had a control freak attitude when it came to negotiating with Mike Jarvis.

  • Unless you ever played basketball competetively, then you have no clue. More times than not you get pissed at your own guys more than the guys your playing against. It's just how it is, you either got it or you don't. I've gotten in arguments with my own brother playing backyard basketball. Suck it up, it's called being competetive. It's just a fire within, i suppose it's just something that can't be explained.

  • @killermontclair Yea Horace Grant and Bill Cartwright. You need some fire. Haven't ya'll ever played competitive basketball before? Suck it up and get over it. I know what I'm talking about guys.....bc like, one time, in the backyard, i was playing basketball with my brother and shit got heated.

  • @StuUngar it's the point i was making dipshit- that one will even get in agument with their closest friends and family even on the smallest of stages you retard. they taught reading comprehension back in the 3rd grade. i can't sit here and explain it to you all night. and you would be the worst team mate because you can't comprehend shit. no wonder this country is going to shit.

  • @killermontclair It took you 11 months to sputter out sentence fragments and attempt to sound intelligent...you poor thing. The irony of your post is you blast me for my supposed lack of reading comprehension when my point completely flew over your head. I'll dumb it down for you. I've gotten into arguments with team mates. There isn't anyone who has played that hasn't experienced that. You talk about it like it's some zen like thing that only a chosen few have experienced.

  • @killermontclair Horace and Cartwright have played longer and at a much higher level than you and I ever did or ever will. For you to imply they don't know how to be competitive and to compare your backyard pick up game to the level these guys played at is just plain fucking silly.

Now work on your response, post it when you finish in November and I'll get back at you.

  • @StuUngar what the hell is wrong with you dude? i didn't say i played at a level of Grant or Cartwright, though i have a prettier shot than Cartwright. but just because they played at a higher level means they are more competetive? use your fucking head. your still missing the point fucktard. level and being competetive are two different things. fuck!!! do i have to dumb that down for you??? just because they made it big time doesn't mean they are more competetive.

  • @killermontclair No they aren't completely different because guys do not make it to that level without being incredibly competitive. Both BC and HG were All-Americans in college. Both were voted best players in their conference in college. Both were NBA champions, NBA all stars, and Grant was NBA all defensive team. They competed against some of the best in the world to get where they were.

  • @killermontclair 1 of the most competitive hardworking ppl I know was guy named Patrick Cobbs. Was overlooked in hs, despite being all conf and all state. No major schools offered scholarship. Went to North Texas. Became conf player of the year and went undrafted but got picked up and got to play some for the Pats and Saints. If guys like that can't make it, how hard do the all stars compete?

I went to the univ of okla when Adrian Peterson, Sam Bradford, and Blake Griffin were

  • @StuUngar ......there. All 3 (especially Peterson) were work horses who practiced like they were scrubs trying to make the team. The only one whos ability is on par with MJ is maybe Peterson. But everyone I’ve mentioned were extreme competitors and busted their ass. It’s a joke and an insult for you to even think you might be more competitive than players of this caliber. If you were, why aren’t you playing somewhere?

  • @StuUngar c'mon stu. ok, no more name calling, i see your not a punk kid so with that being said- lets get real now. skill set and being competetive are two different things. your talking about skills and god given talent vs being competetive. guys like Cobbs and myself (allstate middle linebacker with scholarship offers to a few small schools) maybe didn't have the "allstar" skill set. but once on the field the competetive juices started flowing. i tried my hardest but it wasn't enough.

  • @StuUngar some guys are naturally bigger, faster, stronger and thus those gifts help them. i'm sure they are all competetive, but their competetiveness isn't what got them to where they are or were at. (maybe a few) you and i both know there are nba ballers who are there just for the ride based on their god given talents. they could care less about the competetion. that' the point. MJ went as so far to be violent he wanted to win so bad. by the way, i'm a vikings fan so nice mention of A.D.

  • @StuUngar i'm an extreme competetor stu, at everything, i don't play for a major league team on any level in any sport. but put me on a softball field, basketball court or football field and it's on. whose to say that a start athlete is more competetive than you or i? they have better skills and more talent, but i would fight to the death if need be. you wouldn't? you know what i'm saying? it's a tick in the brain. sometimes not a good thing, but it's there and some have more than others.

  • @killermontclair . thank you man. best comment i have seen on youtube. exactly what i was gonna say

  • @killermontclair

That's true. Even though sports Basketball (and other sports) is a team game, serious players take losses personally. Even though I'm not a pro, I've thought at times, "If I could just have 5 of myself on the court, things would be a lot more easy."

Grown men playing a game shouldn't be too serious, but when you consider the level of attention that it gets and the fact that it's their career, things get tense.

  • @killermontclair Yeah I get in arguments with my brothers too when their not doing what they should be doing. lol

  • @killermontclair

    You sound like a phaggot....

  • @vincentrich one post you type a whole paragraph about how i'm right on and now you call me fag? which is it fuckface? did you take the wrong fucking medicine today? look a couple pages back at what you originally typed to me, and now? what the fuck is wrong with you dickhead? confused? bipolar motherfucker. you typed to me that you wish you could have 5 of you, 5 bipolar motherfuckers getting along one minute and slicing each others throats the next? who sounds like the fag now scab?

  • @killermontclair I'm sure everyone of else has done something on a "competitive" level. Basketball is no different. and you talk about MJ as if you know him personally. These guys are his teammates and they won the championship many times together. However, they all seem to share the same opinion of MJ. That is he cocky and self-absorbed. It is good to be cocky because it makes you competitive, however, + self absorbed/egotistic = asshole. his induction speech was bad too.

  • @yuch1102 not personally but i grew up in chicago, so watching every bulls game every night and then getting a dose on the highlights and news after the games for all those years i would think you somewhat get a feel for what the guy is like. reporters were up his ass day and night. his induction speech was bad and he is what you say he is, but i'll be damned if he didn't get results. he's a champion. nothing more to say. he was there to fucking win and that's what he did and was the best at it.

  • @killermontclair I understand his anger to some extent. You've gotta have some kind of drive and motivation to play the best you can BUT

Jordan often took it too far. I respect his basketball talent, and I hate to say it, but after his hall of fame speech....I will NEVER respect him as a person.

  • @Clementsfootball08 His Hall of Fame speech was enough for you to judge him that harshly? You need to gain some life experience, then maybe you won't draw conclusions about people you know nothing about.

  • @killermontclair Agree. Sometimes you just wonder to yourself if the guys on your team really want to win. I do get pissed at my own guys because they don't want it as much as I do. I suppose you could call it killer instinct. And it is something you need not only in basketball but also in life.

  • MJ never had a great superstar player for his teammate , thats why his standards were high and he was arrogant .

  • @garioldwin he had scottie pippen you idiot

  • @reneperezz Pippen was not a Bird , Gervin , Dantley or Isiah Thomas caliber superstar . He was a class below them .

  • @garioldwin No he WASN'T!!! he was the 2nd best player in the NBA next to MJ...

  • @reneperezz Jordan made Pippen better, Pippen was good but wasnt that good .

  • @reneperezz lmao pippen was the 2nd best player? don't say ignorant stupid shit like that again. portrays you're just a kid with lack of knowledge of the nba heyday.

  • @reneperezz ...and when MJ was gone during the '94 - '95 season, he was arguable THE best player in the NBA... especially had he not been hurt in the early part of that season.

  • @garioldwin bird & thomas i understand BUT gervin & dantley he clearly was.

  • @garioldwin No he just was a true competitor with a great hunger to be the best.

  • competitors makes the team better and never, NEVER! bring them down.

  • what does pippen say i dont understand, who stays in the lockerroom?

  • MJ: PEDs are a helluva drug.

  • kwame brown's fragile psyche and lack of confidence are michael jordan's doing. when kwame play for the lakers is first home game as a starter he was horrible. fans started booing kwame every time he touched the ball. still kobe said "i thought it was terrible," "if fans want to do that, they can stay home. he's going to be our guy for 2 mounths, kwame's sensitive you boo him, it's going to affect him. i told him i've got his back." kobe still believe in his teammate no matter what happen.

  • Jordan crushed kwame brown's spirit. the way he see it now was always all about michael jordan and was never about anyone else. even in his second comeback it was always about jordan and the young center who was never given a chance to gain experience and find his way after going into the NBA straight from high school didn't measure up to jordan's standards, micheal jordan unleashed his wrath and disgust upon him.

  • lol remember when Jordan came back and play for the Wizards it was the chance for him to give back. this was a chance for him to be a coach on the floor. a time for him to build up the young guys to encourage them. instead, Jordan used the time to tear down rookie, using horrible word who idolized him. Jordan destroyed kwame brown. no one could have survived that coming from a legend. he was every basketball players's idol and hero. Jordan called kwame brown a "flaming faggot." he was shocked.

  • @SIV04 You're a huge fucking pussy. and so is Kwame Brown.

I've been challenged before like that and what did I do? I got fucking ANGRY and poured my heart out and gave 200% more than what I was giving before. I got PISSED and battled.

Kwame didn't. He folded like a little bitch. That's one big difference between true warriors like MJ and ordinary people. The fire inside is so intense, nothing will stop it. Come hell or high water, you're going down or I will die trying.

    Kwame didn't have it

  • Jordan was a bad teammate. period. but his teammate just bear with him cus they wanted to win championship and know that jordan was that guy that can help them get there rings. jordan never make no one in his teammate better like kobe does it. he wanted to be the center of the spotlight. he was selfish to the core. he only wanted to win if it brought praise to him. in his mind, he had the best shot most of the time down the floor.

  • Kobe homers wanna know y is MJ so much different to kobe. Well this is the difference, MJ's competitiveness & leadership is unreachable for kobe.

  • @hangtime23ful Haha...what relevancy did that have to do with anything? Haha. Get off of Kobe's nuts, no need to troll just for the sake of starting argument.

  • @hangtime23ful you stupid dude lol say it this way kobe is a better teammate then michael jordan will ever be.

  • Also I dont get this emphasis on MJ and his relationship with his teammates as if in the history of sports all these teams were a bunch of poetry reading sing alongs, at Duke Christian Laettner was notorious for getting on Bobby Hurley, and Riley said Magic would routinely punch and bust up chalkboards and tables but his smile was so blinding we just never noticed lol,MJ is uber competitive so,no wonder these new players running around wanting join up like their super friends way too cozy

  • @sportstalk23 I get it, it is because consensus says that Michael Jordan was the greatest teammate and whatever, yea he produced wins and stuff, but all this is saying is that maybe the popular consensus is a little flawed. That's all.

  • @wonderboy8171 whoever said that was a consensus? lol as I said Jordan fan here he was never described as the most lovable teammate in the history of team sports its a known fact there was tension from time to time in that Bulls locker but they won 6 times my point was this piece is irrelevant I could see the point if the Bulls never won with him then one has to start asking questions but they did,

  • @sportstalk23 Okay I get where you are coming from. But to be quite honest, the consensus for casual fans and many Jordan fans alike is that he was an amazing teammate. Think of it this way, for the last two years we have seen a large group of Kobe lovers come out of nowhere and exclaim that Kobe is on Jordan's level. Obviously he isn't. So to show people their flawed thinking, others write articles and make youtube vids showing why he is not...same concept, but since its Jordan people get mad.

  • @wonderboy8171 I'm a little surprised that more people don't know the real MJ. MJ of course, was not without his flaws. But these flaws were and should NOT be attributed to a bad leader.

Of course, this depends on your definition of a good leader. Do you consider it bad leadership when a leader screams at players , or is it bad leadership when the leader himself does NOT come through when needed. I would say the latter.

MJ was a great teammate. If he wasn't, they would NOT have won. He was

  • I dont see the big deal here teammates fight ALL THE TIME SINCe SPORTS BEGAN Zeke broke his hand aiming a punch at Laimbeer's head do anybody , so MJ and Kerr fought big deal I'm Sports Illustrated Steve said during their altercation he swung first, it at least they didnt let it ruin the team unlike some people cough Shaq&Kobe cough lol, This aint summer camp,or making friends its about getting it together to win and last time I checked the Bulls won 6 times 3-peat twice mission accomplished

  • @sportstalk23 no what you dont know is Jordan can damage a player heart for basketball just like he did to kwame brown. say it this way how do you feel and jordan was 40 year old when he said it. how do you feel if Jordan call you a "flaming faggot" like he said it to kwame brown who idol him think about it

  • @SIV04 yeah Kwame is so damaged that he decided to sign with the Bobcats for a year so no I dont have to comtemplate anything I'm a Jordan fan since dude was a freshman in college so I know who he is as a player, I watched his career start to finish not just Nike and Gatorade commercials he is intense and not alot of people can handle his temperment thats life and if Kobe was such a great teamate Shaq qould still be a laker, Jordan relationships with teammates never got in the way of winning

  • @sportstalk23 You ever thought of it in the way of maybe if Shaq was a better teammate?? I mean, maybe he never leaves Orlando, maybe he would still be a Laker, maybe he would still be a Heat, maybe he would still be a Sun, maybe he would still be a Cavalier...but he is none of those is he? You see my point..Kobe and Shaq had beef and Shaq left, but lets not make it seem as if Kobe was the bad teammate and poor Shaq got the bad end of things.

  • @wonderboy8171 just the otherside of the leader "coin," when most would rather be the nice softspoken leader. Like BJ said, MJ was the drill sergeant and the perfectionist who transfered his work ethic and intensity to his teammates. If thats not a good teammate...

And Shaq AND KB were BOTH the problem. I would even say more KB because KB felt that he was beyond the "sidekick" role and wanted to be THE star. The organization chose the younger player and sent Shaq and Phil packing.

  • @mjordanisnumber1 Well, you make a good case my friend. I am just saying that MJ is held in a double sided light. See..some will say MJ was tough but a great teammate...which I think is true, those same people will say Kobe is a horrible teammate because in a youtube video, he was seen not high fiving his teammate after a timeout...wow seriously? Haha. Also, they were both the problem yes, however, was Kobe not in the right for wanting to be the star? Was it not time already?? Haha...

  • @wonderboy8171 Well... Maybe KB should have done that... When they WEREN'T winning championships!!! Had KB stayed in his role, they most likey would have won MORE rings then they did. KB almost purposely lost the 2004 NBA Finals by NOT passing to shaq, and having a horrible shooting series.

I'm all for KB becoming solo, but do it when your NOT on the verge of another ring!! I mean c'mon! haha!

  • @mjordanisnumber1 The troubles started before the first championship. I mean, if Shaq maybe would have taken the back seat then I think they would have been fine. But Shaq had way to much pride to say his time was up...I mean, it is the same as if, lets say Shannon Brown starts to become this all round phenomenal player and although Kobe is getting up there in age, he does not want anyone else stealing his thunder...so he throws fits and demands to be traded...that is what Shaq did...

  • @wonderboy8171 I agree. It was both shaq and KB's egos. BUT, why did Shaq have to take the backseat? Didn't he prove that he was still worthy of being the best on the team. In fact, from 2000-2004 Shaq finished HIGHER in the MVP voting as well as outplaying KB in the finals, recieving 3 MVPs.

Heck, in the 2004 Finals, Shaq avg'd 26 pts on 60%+ shooting. WHY didn't he get the ball more? Meanwhile KB avg'd 22 pts on 36% shooting. KB's refusal to allow Shaq to win his 4th MVP ruined LA's chance.

  • @wonderboy8171 I understand you're example of Shanon Brown, but Shaq's situation was different. He was NOT slowing down at this point in his career. He was still in his prime.

As mentioned in the previous post, Shaq finished ahead of KB in MVP voting, and outplayed KB in the playoffs. And had KB passed to shaq, and been the sidekick one more time, LA would most likely have one or two extra rings.

Sorry, but I see the majority at fault being KB. What LA had wasn't broken, yet KB still wasn't

  • @mjordanisnumber1 Okay, okay...I see what you are saying...I guess I just see things in a different light though. I mean, sidekicks do not put up 30 7 6 for a whole season like Kobe did in the previous year..I could see his frustration at being labeled a side note when he could be so much more. I mean, this could still be seen as derogatory for Mr. Bryant, however, I see that he has proved that he could win as the top dog and not playing in anybody's shadow...with the right team that is...

  • @wonderboy8171 I understand completely. KB wanted to become more then what he was. Unfortunately, he picked a horrid time to decide this. I mean right in the middle of a possible long dynasty? Bad timing...

Why not when your not winning anymore?

  • @mjordanisnumber1 Haha. Touche...this is a question I cannot answer unfortunately...oh egos and how they ruin things eh? Haha. I mean, that could have been a what...4 peat?? But Gasol really did make things better :)

  • @wonderboy8171 haha! Exactly! I mean its not like shaq had that many prime years left as we saw in Miami, the Suns, etc. But oh well... LA is established now, and that's what is important.

  • @mjordanisnumber1 I mean, sometimes I think that if Jordan had been in the same position as Kobe, he would have demanded alfa dog status just the same...you just cannot take those sort of players with that ego and killer instinct who want nothing more than to win and tell the to help a brotha out...it just does not seem right to me...but you know, I can totally understand where you are coming from too.

  • @wonderboy8171 jordan wouldn't possibly be in the same position as kobe, because had he been in the nba at the same time kobe was, he would have been a starter immediately because he was much better in (all) of his years, but especially his early years. there would have been no question that jordan was the main man on any team so your point really made no sense at all. even wilt chamberlains points per minute tally doesn't touch jordans.

  • @jonnieos Okay buddy...my point did not make any sense...to you lol I am sad it is so difficult for you to understand such a simple concept but okay. Take it easy bro.

  • @wonderboy8171 satisfied.

As a result of KB's tension that he brought to LA, the team lost the 2004 Finals and the key components were broken up and sent packing (namely Phil and Shaq).

Sorry, but I find KB most at fault here. He initiated the rift in the team. Unfortunately, Shaq only made this worse. But in the end, we see KB having the biggest role in splitting up this championship team.

But at least the LA organization redeemed themselves with the acquisition of Gasol.

  • @mjordanisnumber1 Now, you are right with what you are saying, it is just, being a Lakers fan, I will argue all day against people who want to say that Shaq was just the innocent little bunny who got ran over by Kobe's ego train...because I personally do not see it as so.

  • Host...you are more intelligent than so many people. Those 2 featured comments of yours on your video right here prove that you're very intelligent. Not many people, especially these days, have that sense of critical thinking and relative thinking that you have...seriously I'm happy I read what you had to say to those people.

And today's society sees rudeness and arrogance where there isn't...

  • what did jordan yell at 0:05-0:07?

  • @xXzinyanXx He yelled 'yeah, sucker, yeah' at Patrick Ewing and/or Xavier McDaniel, who tried to tip him off balance in the air by slapping his face (you can see it better from another angle). I believe it was the '92 playoffs, but I'm not sure.

  • This Is Some EPIC piano music. That piano go hard in the mutha f***ing paint!

p.s. i guess I see why people say they didn't like him. I can't believe he went Chris Brown on Tim Kerr. At least he did apologize and to those who condemn MJ Name me one athletic team NBA, NFL, etc. that doesn't have someone pushing each other like that.

  • @deadpoolkillswolvrne I concur, the piano is gripping and haunting.

  • Good thing LeBron didn't play on the Michael Jordan era Bulls..... LeBron would have gotten his head beat in by M.J. ....the moment he started high-fiving, hugging and swapping spit (Dwayne Wade) with rival NBA players.

  • He told Horace that Harvey was better looking.

  • BILL CARTWRIGHT IS BADASS

  • he really got intensity, and most people take it the wrong way, im also like that, i m extremely hard on myself i cry when i have a B in my transcript, i set my standards really high, and i drive my group members for class project nuts, i push them so hard, because i want them to give their 100%, and i don't know if thats wrong, but i want the best and i strive for the best that is just my personality. period.

  • @GarrettGilbertSon If you are a Kobe fan then you should know what MJ did is nothing to compare with Kobe did to his teamates. Kobe elbowed his teammates and caught in camera 2 times, we would never know what he would do to his teammates in practice.

I believe MJ is same tough to his teammates, but he is also less violent, and he apologize for what he did to Kerr. And those trash talking and fight always happen in any teams not only sports team, people often conflict when working too hard

  • Magic must be a better teammate to work with its true. MJ is more tough, but there are more star players are harder than MJ, such like Isiah Thomas, Kobe Bryant. They both more violent.

And it is really rare to be successful the same time to be a nice guy like Magic Johnson.

Ask any top sales man, top business man, even top student in school, those winners win for some reason, they are really really hard to themselves, and also to the members of his team(if he needs a team to be successful)

  • well, the team's best player wasn't really well-liked anyways and whether you love MJ professional or personally, you can't deny he's the greatest ever to play the game of basketball...

  • @GarrettGilbertSon Please! A leech? haha! Nice kid. Obviously you have NEVER been a competitor, so its useless trying to explain that life to you. You won't ever understand unless you go outside and play.

How old are you? I remember Bird having fights with Mchale, and Magic yelling at his teammates. Its not all high fives all the time. That's called competing.

You may be a jerk, but its only becuz of your competitive nature and longing to win. Its the price for being on top.

  • Obviously, you're not a competitor. Especially of that level. Bird, Magic, Thomas, KB, KG, etc ALL have done that to a point. MJ was the greatest, so of course he did it the MOST. That's what it takes to be on top.

He was grateful to his teamates, he was just a perfectionist, and had a fire in him. Listen to BJ's comment at the end. He did what he had to do to make you raise your stakes. And if that was be rough to you, then that's what he was going to do.

BUT he never wanted to hurt you.

  • Is it just a piano in the background music?

  • @biffwebster3 there are synthesizer strings in addition to the piano

  • Is it just a piano playing in the background?

  • It's well known Kwame Brown's confidence was forever broken after what Jordan said to him in that practrice session.GOAT player of all time, but at times an out & out bully!!!

  • Jordan was the best player on the court, but he was never a nice person off it!!

  • @GarrettGilbertSon That's becaue the NBA is soft now a days. Watch an 80s or early 90s game...them kids went to war.

  • The new YouTube sucks

  • Jack89 you dont know what you are talking about just see NBAPremium(.)tk to see whats up

  • You guys forgetting about Rodman and all the stupid things he did on the court(aside from being a rebounding god).I don't think Jordan would talk shit to Rodman.I always saw Jordan trying to calm Rodman on the court cause that's all he could do when Denis lid blew.

  • I think was very difficult to MJ look to the bench and see those guys in a low level. That's why they spent 3 consecutive years to beat the Pistons. When he started to do these things, they started to win! That's why the Bulls won 72 in 82 games in 1996!!

    Only stronger people wins!

  • I remember in the Finals against the Jazz in 98 I think Pippen hit a 3 to tie the game in the 4rth quarter & MJ yelling at him cuz he didn't get the ball

  • @MHBULLSFAN That is a lie...MJ never fuss at his teammates when they did good...

  • @Domini478 I have that game on tape I saw MJ yell at Pippen for not passing him the ball even tough Pippen had just tied the game in the 4rth I'm not hating on MJ I'm just stating the facts

  • Although I consider MJ as the greatest player of all time (who knows, maybe some day we will consider Lebron as the best), it was always obvious that MJ gave unpleasant feeling to his teammates.

Looking back on Magic or Bird, they never gave their teams this feeling.

They were a great motivators without yelling on their teammates.

  • Talking bout a strict teammate.

  • Hey he may kicked a little ass but he got them in the history books so i say it payed off cant be soft gotta lead by example and dats what he did

  • He apologized. I don't think other players will forgive him 100%. but i think they will appreciate it as he raised up their stats.

  • if jordan wouldnt of been like this they never would of one 6 titles he didnt do shit wrong people who are saying he was bad are looking at this video the wrong way it just shows how bad he wanted to win and helps his teammates get that fire inside

  • Look, I think Jordan was the best player to ever play the game, but, as a sportsman, he's not really someone that I would like to emulate.

  • he is professional, he won't easily fight on the court, as a leader he has to teach the other players.

  • But is fighting with them, belittling them, and treating them poorly the best way to teach the other players?

  • Yeah, if they suck ass.

  • @captainadam1 - Yep. The US military do it everyday. And thats why we rule the world. Just like MJ and the Bulls in his day.

  • @captainadam1 ur a pussy

    he won 6 ships

    and you question his strategy?

maan i wish kobe would do the same with odom

  • @kevinolis

    Thanks for keeping it professional.

  • @captainadam1 Well, it got him 6 championships, two 3-peats. Id say he knew what buttons to push with his teammates

  • of course theres no best way to succes, theres only way to success. Most tp business men or top sales men would be very hard to their teammates or employers. This world is indeed to be like that, if you want to win you got to be tough. Even school teacher will bitch you if they want you go into a top college so badly.

If those leaders want you to be one of successful man in a team, you can only choose to improve yourself or quit yourself, thats the whole story in the real world.

  • @captainadam1 No one talked about him belittling and treating them poorly...there's a fine line between bullying and what greats like MJ did.

  • @captainadam1 tough love, constructive criticism. I bet if you ask any of his teammates about him, they'd say they loved him as a leader.

  • @captainadam1 they won 6 championships it wasn't the wrong way

  • @captainadam1 No. But sometimes we need a foot in our asses!!
