I know there is a patch somewhere to translate EB0 on Mother 1+2, and I think some people from Starmen are working on a translation patch for this as well [a translation of both games]

I just noticed that on the file select screen, the music sounds like the gameboy camera credits!

Yup, the composer of Mother 2 also worked on the music for the GameBoy camer. He put that song in as a subtle reference.

for some reason i dislike the music quality on the GBA version of mother 2... but the graphics look semi-better..

Tork how fast did this run on your emulator? Mother 3 on VBA was extremely smooth it tricked my eyes...

Ohhhhh I always thought The protagonist was Lucas for the Mother series so basically Earthbound is the same thing as Mother 2 just in english with some things changed.

The first Mother is EarthBound Zero, and Mother 3 would be EarthBound 2.

Not officially, no.

There has been a Fan Translation. But the patch only covers MOTHER 1, and not MOTHER 2 at all, so its half complete. And the main guy in charge of the project died some time ago, so it's been put on hold.
