No AVOD! Not even the mediocre channel system UA has on their 777's. "New" those economy seats are ancient! Check out the Qantas A380, they are busy installing the A380 seats on their 747-400's...

I like United. Yes....they do not have AVOD in economy, but they do have econmy plus. I can bring something to watch movies on.....but I can't bring extra leg room.

Scooby here, Scooby has never rated any U.S. airlines, Well Hawaiian airlines were ok Scoobys lucky most of Scoobys flights are in J class but sometimes even Scooby flys Y class, Why if UAL have a new cabin config do they not treat all the Y class with their own IFE screens?, Its like flying KLM, China airlines, Thais B747.400s and also like flying 20+ years ago, You wanna go back in time without going back in time to see what its like to fly long haul? Try them airlines, Y class only!!.

Thanks for putting this up. I dream on flying on one of UAL's '744's someday. I'm glad I got to fly on United (domestic, flew from KPHL to Tulsa with a connection at Chicago O'Hare) nice planes, nice flight attendants, and a great experience all around.

united airlines is fine.. too bad the economy class seats dont have a personal entertainment screen like KLM is doing in all their long hauld planes .. the 777 and a330 already got them only the MD-11's and 747's need to get them

Most airlines dont have Personal entertainment on there 747s because it would put on to much weight. KlM is retiring there 747s completely so there is no need on them smae goes for the MD-11.

Only problem I foresee with business class is that you can see the TV screen of the person sitting next to you, which could be very distracting.

Awesome! I adore the 747, she is my favourite plane, best looking bird in the sky - always will be as well. Long live thh magnificent 747, always a pleasure to see the United 747s at Sydney. Hope you had a nice flight.
