Chevy engines it's not better than the toyota 2f or 3f engine. The only thing that engine improve is the speed, but the 2f o 3f toyota engines have a plenty torque for the fj60 or fj62. I think put a chevy engine on a Land Cruiser it's a profanation.
most landcruisers built these days are for tuff climates like australia sahara desert middle east. original landcruisers had suspension that could crush a rock when the rock meets the tyre (so the manufacturers say ) i love my landcruiser and im buying another 60 just cant get enuff of em : D
when ppl complain when japanese offroaders are better than an american one... japanese off roaders are really modified us cars, its just the body work that makes it "feel" japanese. so my point is, is that american cars are really the ultimate offroaders
??? so your saying that because the bodywork is "japanese" looking,that makes US cars better.....no its the engine the tranny, axles, suspinsion, lockers and most importantlly RELIABILITY, that is why the Land Cruiser is the best off roader
