seeing lode star moving is something special even if it was pulled be 9600 i just hope that one day nrm will see sense and put the star back on the main line where i believe the all should be or at least running on preserved railways, thankyou for such excelent footage and if theres anymore of lode star i would definatlt like to see more.

Awesome Video! Good to see the Star out in the open! What was the loco at 6.03? was it Clun Castle?

@coatewatersam thank you =) Indeed, it was nice to see her out of the NRM for a change. No, that wasn't Clun Castle it was a GWR 2884 Class although I'm not sure of the number

@MG06ZT thanks again mate =) Yeah were there from about half 10ish until about half 4 when we had to get our train back to Banbury and drive off home to Swindon. I went home happy as I had been bought one of Hornby's new limited edition Castle Class 7037 'Swindon', the guys from the STEAM museum in Swindon had only brought along 6 so I was quite lucky =)

@EMuksteam thanks again mate, it was a great event, especially with the brilliant weather although it did pour down with rain at the end. It was great to see Lode Star out in the open and to see her wheels moving, she looked gorgeous in the sunshine.
