I dont think a screwdriver is good for this. The anti reversal latch needs to be pulled towards you and to make that you need some kind of a hook shaped tool to put behind the latch and pull. I've found that a suitable corkscrew is excellent for this, you just screw it behind the latch and pull. But there may lie a trap..usually the latch is under great spring pressure and when you release it the spring shoots forward and the latch snaps back trying to stop it which breaks the latch(ive broken 2
Hey, can you help me solve a problem? I was dry firing my JG m1614 (I know dry firing is bad) and the trigger locked up. After a small amount of force, the trigger went back into place. The gearbox won't fire or anything, but the piston is not locked back. I still can't figure out the problem.
Please reply, Thanks
And if this helps, I was dry firing on semi-auto, and the fuse isn't blown.
Taking the gearbox apart is easy. It's closing it back up where the fun starts lol! Just make sure EVERYTHING that came out goes back in. If you are new to this, take a few pictures BEFORE and during strip down. You will be really glad you did ;) and keep all parts in a container where it won't get knocked over by your dog/drunk flatmate. Good luck
my gun picks up the BBs and floods the barrel with them, they don't shoot out at all, when you tip it forward they all fall out the barrel, I cant figure out the problem.
@kjz28 There may be something wrong with your piston or piston head i would take apart you gearbox and make sure nothing is cracked or damaged. I would not recommend taking your gearbox apart if you are new to airsoft.
@airsoftasain1 Thanks for the tip. I am pretty mechanical, so I dont have any worries about taking it apart, I just neede to know what to look for. Thanks.
@kjz28 it could also be the hop-up, i had the same problem, it turned out that a tiny o-ring on the hop-up unit itself had cracked. i jes had to get it replaced and it worked fine after that
I don't see the latch...
