HELP ME. i have the gevey sim but when i phone power off, it stays on the apple logo and when it turns on it says to 'accept' and after that it stays on the connect to itunes logo. the top says "no service" but from your video i dont see it staying on the connect to itunes logo and only slide for emergency calls... any help?

@vampirewish JailBrake it. Thats the only way to get it off of Recovery mode. Then you can do this.

Okay I did this and it worked fine. My tmobile logo came on and I was able to make calls and text all day. The phone lost signal at a point and NOW it doesn't want to get service any more???

Im doing this process over and over again... the bars get full and I can make a call then it drops down to one bar then says sim failure and that's all that keeps happening what is goin on.

plz help me or this iphone is gone.

Thanks a lot for this clear guide. Im in Indonesia and have no trouble at all. Worked like a charm. Bought my iphone 4 through ebay bundled with gevey turbo. What I learned though is that I have to turn flight mode off and on a couple of times until the local carrier finally appears. You gotta repeat this process from start if you run out of battery or after hard reset. Gevey works for sure.

I checked out a youtube video where we can dial 112 and thn switch the airplane mode nd stuff . My phone got unlocked but again after a week it became locked . Then again i repeated the same process and it again worked . what do i have to do inorder to keep it unlocked forever without doing it again and again . Please reply pal . I am worried :(:(

@Tuganotube You will need to set your APNs under the Cellular Data Network tab for your provider.

@Tuganotube Okay, I think this will work but I can't be in Portugal to check. Go to Settings - General - Network - Cellular Data Network - and then under APN for cellular data, type in "internet.vodafone.pt", Good luck!

@iphonecases4all Mine does the same thing... but the thing it was compatible because the tmobile logo came on and the phone worked all day long. Later in the day I went inside the phone lost signal and now it doesnt want to return to the tmoible logo. I tried doing this process again and it just giving me bars for a few seconds then they go away.
