  • when real christians act properly christian, people like you call them 'commies' or 'liberals', or some other innane crap. Yet when the right-wingers want another war, it's suddenly GAWWD BLESS AMERIKKKA

  • as an agnostic and secularist, I can say that I have no problem with people properly following christianity. Some of my best friends are true christians. They help the poor when possible, they dedicate their lives to helping others. And guess what: every single one of these people is a socialist. The reason christianity gets bad rep is because of the right-wing warhawks who are the most vocal 'christians'. I try not to think of them as such, but that's what they use as a vessel for their hate.

  • why are you making the whole christian 'secularists cannot have morality' claim? It's nonsense. There are many ways to derive morality without believing in an invisible man. First of all, people may see the law as morality. Others may consider human feelings (negative and positive) as the basis for their morality. Christianity just borrowed from these basic emotions and attempted to monopolise upon it.

    some 'punk', making fundie arguments...lol.

  • I don't know of any science types who 'have faith in another planet like earth'. This is silly.

  • why are these verses pointed out? Because most 'christians' are not truly christ-like at all. Mostly just selfish douchebags with a warped mentality.

  • A good book for everyone to read: Thank God for Evolution. It's a book which depicts the story of the Universe from the big bang onwards in a way which nurtures faith and follows scientific discovery to the note. Atheists and Theists alike waste too much time arguing who is right and why the other is wrong.

  • You are incorrect! Science does not have any proof the the Earth is "billions of years old"! I suggest that you visit drdino.com and watch the video entitled "The Age of the Earth". Here you will see the many incorrect "scientific facts" that we have all been led to believe. Best wishes in your discoveries!

  • @jimginnyohio Lol, that website is a joke.

  • But the final straw was visiting Bible land in Florida. And learning the beginnings of Christianity. I never believed again that the "Bible" was perfect and without errors. Especially when it was passed down orally for many decades and copied over and over. I suggest you start studying how the Bible was put together. Bart Erhman is good. Mark D. Roberts is good. These two don't sugar coat like most apologetics do. Just tell it like it is. Mark is a Christian, Bart is not. Good video rant BTW!

  • I guess the biggest problem I have with Christianity NT. Is that you have no choice to be born. But you must worship me or you will be burned for eternity. Sounds fair and loving to me. I was raised staunch S. Baptist and believed Christianity was good until mid 20's I started doing research and questioning the Bible and a "loving" God who could torture a majority of mankind for ever instead of just being able to forgive them. Since he created them to begin with. And foreknew what would happen.

  • @grassburner did you just simply ignored Justice? God is loving and justice. So for the sake of justice, God will judge us for what we have done wrong. BUT since He loves us, He sent us Jesus so that when we die and come before Him, we can say: by our faith and trust to the shedblood of Jesus, we are justified as you have promised, so let me into heaven. That is how God offered His love to us. However people suffer because they rejected His love. Hope this will help you brother. God Bless.

  • @MrRandomppl I don't have a problem with justice or being judged. I'll take the punishment for what I've done wrong. I just happen to think that eternal torture is not loving or just for living 1-70 years. Why is killing himself to himself make my sins go bye-bye. My goodness, God created everything but he cant just forgive or judge people fairly. JESUS is going to be burning GOOD people forever instead of just getting rid of them. It's just plain sick. Christians ignore this as a "just" act!

  • @grassburner let me clarify you point: by "loving and just" you are saying to tolerate every bad thing humans do and let it go. Wow, then... SUCK IT, LAW!!! SUCK IT, JUSTICE!!! SUCK IT, MORALITY!!! SUCK IT, HUMANISM!!! Fair and square enough.

  • @MrRandomppl What "good" could possibly come out of torturing decent people (or even bad people for that matter) for eternity? Just because they didn't believe the Bible was true or worship you? What "good" would it do unless you enjoy being a sadistic freak. There's nothing worse than torture. And you will be praising Jesus forever and ever for doing just that! Call me crazy, but I can't do that. I've known too many great people that don't deserve that who weren't Christians. ----You have too!

  • @grassburner So how can you be saved from your sins? Doing more good things to cover up the bad things you've done or try to be decent by naming others freak? You don't have to understand the meaning of life to live a life, however you need Jesus to be saved from your sins.

  • These commentxs....These comments....hating on Atheists....due to lack of knowledge.....telling you tha you have "the choice" to :accept" jesus....which is alot like saying that you hae the choice to do what the guy with the gun to your head says....christins have a scary thought process!

  • @socialismisracist

thats a realy funny comment. thanks

  • Its a lot easier to debunk those of the bible with the bible. There are plenty hypocrisies in it but nothing in it proves or disproves anything.

Still, the idea that Jesus didn't exist is almost as ridiculous as atheism.

  • Thank you Brother.

    Most Atheists are also Nihilists.

  • @DirkChesterfieldEsq

    yup, i am

  • They've found many earth like planets. Religious scripture is mumbo jumbo, if god exists all he would want is for you to be a good person.

  • @behaivorplacement is there life in the Earth like planets ?

  • @realhxq Where talking about statistical theoretics here not hoping really hard(faith) that there is life.

  • Universe is 13.7 billion years old. But that's just nitpicking. I like your videos, keep it up.

  • This is a great video.

  • It's the first time I've heard this argument. Sounds like a strawman to me. To all the St. Paul style "Christians" (as opposed to the Marcion "Christians", lol) read the works of Bart D. Ehrman. Or, watch him on youtube.

  • I mourn the spiritual fate that nonbelievers will ultimately receive, yet they are endowed by God w/free will & the freedom to make that choice. God didn't give us those abilities because He wanted to force us to believe & worship Him, rather, He prefers to have us seek Him out willingly. While the Bible talks of many who will enjoy eternity in Heaven, it also speaks of many others who choose eternity in Hell. I don't wish that future for anyone, but I must accept that it'll happen nonetheless.

  • @tchapman1977

can can see our future, therefore free will is a myth

  • @SecularNumanist Not so... if you choose to accept Jesus into your heart & the gift of eternal salvation that He so freely offers, then you won't earn the fate that those who don't believe will receive. Until you willfully choose to reject God, Jesus & the gift of eternal forgiveness & salvation offered, your fate is not set in stone. However, simply refusing to choose doesn't absolve you, either. Once you die, if you haven't chosen or have rejected God, then your fate is sealed. Choose wisely.

  • @tchapman1977

yeah i know what they say, and im telling you that makes no sense because god created us knowing our future. he created us knowing whether wed go to hell or not. were doomed or blessed from the start.

  • Unfortunately some people simply refuse to believe in a supreme being and afterlife regardless if their reasons are rational or otherwise. Our job as believers is to spread the good news. What they choose to do with that good news is ultimately up to them for better or for worse. I tell atheists/agnostics this: if I believe & at death find there is no God/afterlife, I've lost nothing & If I don't believe & at death find that God exists, then I've lost everything worth living for.

  • I think the reason most go straight to the old testament is because it's the easiest target.

  • btw not Debunking Christianity or Religion, I believe there is a God but the Son of God is up for debate. and I debunk Budda, Allah, and others.

  • Well Jesus Said he didn't come to abolish the Jewish laws or prophecies but to fulfill them, so really Jew law is Christian laws. I LOVE to use Luke. where you have to hate your fellow man and family to be a Disciple of Christ. or Matthew where Jesus says he didn't come to bring peace but to war among Family. Jesus was never the loving hippie till Mary the mother in Luke. & Mary the whore said "hey Jesus, Calm ya tits you're acting like a dick" I can respect a Christian but not Christianity

  • @chuckbear Jesus never said he came to bring war in the family... The verse you mention is in the context of saying that chances are that following Jesus may cause problems in your family... It in no way says that Jesus wants war in the family...

And half of the book of Luke is almost exclusively Jesus telling people to give to the poor, giving to one another, and not being hypocritical or greedy... It is difficult to even consider that Jesus told anyone to hate anyone... Context matters...
