FO 3 is better on the xbox but NV is better on the ps3 simply because all ps3 owners can get the patches.. Xbox user's like myself that don't use or want use xbox live (therefore pay for it) can't get the patches, and NV is better with the patches, something that FO3 didn't..
By the way stop paying for xbox live.. You already payed for the consoles, already payed for the internet connection which you still pay every month, you don't have to pay for air too =(xbox live)
Fallout new vegas was worse then fallout 3, i recomend buying fallout 3 game of the year edition which is cheaper then new vegas, new vegas would be better because it has gambling, but it dident have enough gambling choices and was the glitchyest game of ALL TIME. well simple as it is i know 360 cannot support the same detail of textures as PS3 but theyre lighting abilities are generally equal. Problem I have with Fallout 3 on 360 is it unfortunately lags a lot and has terrible loading times, despite the texture res. being turned down :(. Really the only difference I see in a PS3 and 360 launch are that PS3 generally has a higher framerate and better textures but otherwise are identical.

I have a question, when I first got Fallout3 I froze 3 times, then I got patch 1.6, which makes me freeze only like every hour, and then if I restart 5 minutes between each freeze, and when I read through what that patch does, do I still need the patches before? (except 1.5 cause I hear it causes more trouble than it fixed) Because it seems 1.6 didnt do anything other than fix problems in previous patches. My computer is a model: FX4710-03h, brand new, and made purposely for gaming.
That's weird.... Could be that either your CPU or GPU are overheating.
I'd suggest checking the heat syncs and/or fans that cool them. Unless your computer is under warranty still or you don't know what you're doing then don't open it up.
If that's the case make sure all your drivers are up to date and try reinstalling Fallout.
Sorry, gone for a week. But no, its nothing that overheats cause when I play games like Cod:waw on ultra graphics, no lags, glitches, freezes or crash. ONLY fallout. I will try to re-intall it however. Thanks.
If you find Jefferson Memorial before the "Waters of Life" quest is activated, your game will encounter a massive freeze problem- i.e. once or more an hour. The only way to fix this is to start a new game and avoid jefferson memorial at all costs until its time to go there...... sorry

I'm no PC snob, I have played and loved many console shooters like Black, Resistance, Halo series. Gamepad has it's place but it's not the pinnacle of gaming, especially for FPS.

i agree with most of what you said. people seem toi focus on the signle precision floating point performance of CELL, which is impressive by CPU standards, but pants compared to GPU standards. what actually matters is a CPu with superb general prupose performance and double precision is great for Pc. if you use double precision on CELL its pathetically slow compared to a good deskop CPU like an i7. something like 15Gflops for CELL and 70+ for i7 lol

the biggest problem with those comparison shots is he didn't get still images and he didn't keep the camera still for the before and after. all he had to do was save the game in each screenshot location and reload each save without moving his mouse, i guess that was too difficult for him

Maybe you should check out the Fallout Wiki. Fallout 3 for the Xbox 360 has just as many glitches as the PS3 version. The 360 versions framerate is more stable, that's the only upside it has other than DLC which is debatable since theres no real need for DLC in a game of this size.
To be honest with you when I'm playing fallout (or any game for that matter) I never really hang around and admire lighting effects and textures, with fallout I'm always looking in the distance for super mutants or raiders.
Saying that this video is proof that the PS3 is better than the 360 is foolish, stop crying about graphics and which console is better, just buy both and enjoy the bloody games.

Both are good consoles but in my opinion Blu-Ray is'nt that new (i know DVD is older) so they should lower the price on the PS3 to a 3rd less then todays price. PC is superior in graphics in several games.
Compare Mirrors Edge PC and PS3 versions, for example.
I did (same monitor, same resolution) and the PC version had much more detail.
Same goes for GTA IV PS3 vs PC - Draw distance, and details were both much better in the PC version.
You just need a €1100 pc vs a €400 PS3 to run it max ;-)
In a year or so it'll be Equal in prices but better graphics at the PC version.
Equal + better controls = PC-win :D

Compare for example Mirrors Edge and GTA IV all max PC vs PS3 at the SAME screen. You'll see that the PC versions are much more detailed.
The difference gets equalled out in price tag though - The PC running GTA IV all max is much more expensive then a PS3.
However, PC definitely gives better graphics if you're willing to pay more.
Oh and for your fucking information: one core in the PS3 runs at 3,2 GHz, which gets is ass kicked by 3,6GHz i7 Extreme. WIN

this is bullshit 360 was the lead platform for fallout 3 thats why the DLC is exclusive to 360...well (microsoft) (windows) iv seen other comparisons and the 360 version comes out on top

I have Fallout 3 on PC , all the graphism to the max in 1680x1050 , and the graphics looks like those on the PS3 version.
360 was lacking some textures and that patch have fixed some of those textures not all , there's still missing textures....
Anyway this game could have been nice and very nice RPG/FPS but , it crash/bug so much that it is not even fun to play...

I had the same type of thing with Resident Evil because I was playing it with no memory card.
I went to the bathroom and seen a small key on the window ledge and went to pick it up, when I got back to my room I told my friend and he said he did the same thing :D

Maybe you should check out the Fallout Wiki. Fallout 3 for the Xbox 360 has just as many glitches as the PS3 version. The 360 versions framerate is more stable, that's the only upside it has other than DLC which is debatable since theres no real need for DLC in a game of this size.

To be honest with you when I'm playing fallout (or any game for that matter) I never really hang around and admire lighting effects and textures, with fallout I'm always looking in the distance for super mutants or raiders.
Saying that this video is proof that the PS3 is better than the 360 is foolish, stop crying about graphics and which console is better, just buy both and enjoy the bloody games.

You should out up an xbox 360 elite with a ps3 and see which one has better graphics. The xbxo your using is probably a pro the differnce between the graphics on a pro and elite are huge. So go buy an elite then test it up with a ps3 the video cards are most likely the same. And whats the point there both good systems so stop saying well ps3 is better like god get a life. Some people.

It is, but it is constantly being updated. If you buy a "super pc" it will expire in less than 2 years. However consoles are always up to date if you look at the games released to them.
And again i wont count in the wii cause it is like a white Game cube, AKA CRAP!

I don't understand why people have to argue about which console is "better"... Yes, with this we can establish that the PS3 is better graphically. And?
They both have their flaws and the things that are better than the other. It's like human competition, you're smarter but uglier than the next guy. Nothing is perfect.
PS3 and 360 fans should realize they are BOTH GREAT CONSOLES. Why one has to be better than the other escapes me.

Agreed, look at crysis on Ultra High it looks like it's filmed! But it's 3 times as expensive as the PS3 and about 4 times as much as the Xbox360.

Both are good consoles but in my opinion Blu-Ray is'nt that new (i know DVD is older) so they should lower the price on the PS3 to a 3rd less then todays price. But that's not going to happend because Sony loose over 100 dollars for every sold PS3. BTW the Xbox 360 graphic card is to good for for its CPU and the PS3 CPU is to good for its graphic card.
