The 335i coupe has been rated at 0-60 in under 5 seconds by multiple independent sources. There is a video on youtube here of it hitting 0-60 in 4.85s, stock with 91 octane gas.
I own the 335i coupe, and I plan to buy an Elise S next year too. Both great cars. The 335i has the bling and some fun while the Elise has the all out track feel.
