Thanks for uploading the Hinton Admiral footage. My dad used to take me there when on holiday to see the Network Souteasts thundering through years ago.
No problem glad you enjoyed the video. theres a Hastings unit through on Saturday June 28th to Bournemouth (arr 12:46) Brockenhurst dep 12:26. Its going to Bournemouth T&RSMD, after its dropped the GBRf passengers off at Bournemouth, for watering and fuelling. I will be at Branksome.
If i lived closer mate, i'd be there :-(. Theres a fantastic DVD i'd recommend about that line called 'Wessex' by video 125. Weymouth to Waterloo drivers eye view in a class 442. It goes through Hinton Admiral, Brokenhurst, Clapham jct ect.Recommend it to anyone!
Heh I'd also recommend it as well. As I have got it on DVD (with the Weymouth Quay and Winchester - Basingstoke extras) but I have it originally on VHS also. Hopefully there should be some footage of the Hastings unit on here over thenxt few weeks or so. I have footage dating from April still yet to go up!!!
Yeah Usually at Hinton Admiral it will be the Poole - Waterloo, and Wareham - Brockenhurst runs and the odd occasional train from weymouth &Vice versa. The same applies to Branksome as well. Oh and when someone is selfish and decides to take their own life as well!!
The Video was shot using a Sony TRV230e Digital 8 video camera. It was transfeered to the PC via firewire(320gig externall HDD) using Pinnacle 500 - USB hardware. It was then edited with in Pinnacle Studio 10. It was originally 1.9 gig in size. I then aded the music and titles using windows movie maker and then saved it as a 90 meg wma file.
