La fumée c'est visible sur un diesel et ça parait polluer beaucoup.

Une voiture à essence pollue autant et pourtant ça ne se voit pas.

De plus une grosse fumée des "vieux" Diesel sera moins néfaste pour ton corps qu'une fumée sortant des voitures actuelles car les molécules plus grosses ne seront pas directement assimilées par ton corps qui peux encore les filtrer.

En même temps, je dis pas que c'est mieux mais moins "pire" !

Well, the Ford 6.9 wasn't bad, and the 7.3 was great, before they came up with the Power Choke system. Then they just HAD to go to that wimpy 6.0 (their worst ever....smaller-displacement engine turned up way too tight, multi-burst injection on injectors meant for conventional injection.....what a disaster!) and they haven't made a good one since that I know of.

Chevy, on the other hand, has NEVER had a good diesel to offer, until Duramax, which is borrowed, and still not exceptional.

I agree mostly, I also work in a diesel shop and the 3406B and E model and some of the best engines out there if you are lookin for horsepower. I think the duramax is getting the kinks worked out and will soon be a great engine... Ford, what can you say, they suck!

A stock auto can actually handle a lot of power. After the 500 mark you will start breaking output shafts like my friend did in his 01' that makes 512hp. But to make the trans a lot stronger go with an ATS transmission. They're one of if not the best out there.

Lay off this guy. Diesel isn't nearly as harmful as gasoline. This stuff gets burned very efficiently and the black soot is just particulates. Would it make you hippies feel better if he was running on vegetable oil?! Its really funny how some people are scared of things they don't understand.

Also, ONYX, you can't put catalytic converters on diesels. They don't produce the harmful hydrocarbon or carbon monoxide emissions that a gasoline engine spews out. Another ignorant f**ktard.

no lol, you would have to have a weird set up for water to get in the angine, unless it rains a whole lot, it would have to make it up the down pipe, and through the turbo. im not sure if you can even flood deisels easily. unless it comes through the intake

it's a 96, It comes with the 215 inj pump, which has the 181 DV's) Now the truck has 435 injectors in there, (after vid) ummm the tranny is a manaul, its basicly stock, except for an upgraded clutch (kinda homemade, which costed 300 bucks)
