The original is nearly unlistenable for me. I take my hat off to The Yessirs for actually keeping the original idea and making it audible. That's a HUGE feat. It just goes to show how some of Pharrell's less-than-stellar ideas can really shine with the right polish.

But the problem with this song was never the backing track. The instrumental was part of a three-way bidding war before Pharrell snagged it for himself. The lyrics are the problem, he really should have tried harder when he wrote this.
