This pisses me off to no end. Where do these people find facilities like this to play????? And where the fuck do they get the money to spend on a thousand bucks or more on military gear.
@AUDIOSLAVE59 i played against them at the same facility. My gun is about half the price but it performs just as well ( you dont need a PTW ) and i dont have NVG's but you dont need that either. Bam thats over a grand knocked out of your cost.
Most of the clips were from operation pine plains in new york
YOU GUYS NEEDA ENLIST ALREADY!!!!!! if u take 'airsoft' this seriously, then i can only imagine how highspeed you'd be in the INFANTRY. 11B lead the way! or maybe ya dont weanna enlist due to the many fucktards in the infantry? lol c'mon already, you should be in ma unit.
I've seen these guys at coram in long island new York. They know what to do they communicate well and make good efficient battle plans with little or no casualties
@slurpee176 agreed they do, especially when hits aren't called. played against them afew times in many areas im sad to say they play a great game but they almost NEVER call their hits till they hit you or if your right up close to them
All I can is wow! What insperation. I have just started Airsoft as in i only got my first AEG last saturday. This is the kind of airsoft I want to play.
I had this same argument over doctrine with a fellow NCO a while back. He basically said that doctrine is bible, well, I don't agree. I told him that doctrine is the sanctuary for the unimaginative. Situation dictates.
Doctrine is the foundation Blackjack, as you are correct. You can’t go action for action out of a book in combat, as it will never be the perfect scenario described. Knowing the basics out of the manual breeds a deliberate thought processes with minimum thought through battle drills. It is up to the operator to take this Doctrine and instill “Outside the Box” thinking to adapt to the scenario he faces. But without the basics the operator will not have the tools to do so. Good points.
If u ask me it seems like it just another bunch of E2's comparing airsoft to real steel. Grow the fuck up guys and respect what is, these guys are clearly above the average airsofter and that's that cause if u really want to compare u guys ain't shit next to SAS, IDF or delta for that matter. @freakcitysf when it comes to real combat anyone can get it, even the so called best so you're just another DNA milkshake drinker, side by side with those FockPolk guys. Fucking fags
@FortPolkAirsoft You can't say you weren't trying to bash them when in your original post you say "Anyone watching this and thinking Man these guys are good well..Not Really and here is why" "what a gaggle fuck" "but to us real steel guys youre a sloppy sandwich" those are clear as day bashes... and in real life face to face you would NEVER say that to anyone. I respect your service to our country no doubt, but learn some manners.
I can understand your point but I will let you know that these guys are well respected...
1. Most Served in many branches
2. Some are currently in Iraq
I can understand what you mean but just so you know these guys are more than what you consider "real steel guys", and its not bad to criticize but lets not bash them, i wont speak on your part but i see a lot of people bash GMR and claim they are better that have never experienced combat.
@FortPolkAirsoft Good points, I saw some of your videos nice team you got there! Sorry if I have offended anybody. Keep up the good work and thanks for the service!
@FortPolkAirsoft Continued from my other reply, you say "there is no rear security EVER" when clearly in 99% of the video they are assaulting/room clearing. How would you be able to tell from the view point 1st-5th guy in the stack that they don't have rear security? and if I'm not mistaken at 2:40 ish, a grenade comes into the room and the camera man backs out into a stairwell with the rear man. Again I'm not bashing you personally, just pointing out that you are wrong
@FortPolkAirsoft although i do agree with your comment on muzzle sweeps, they do seem to have quite a few of em. still far better than the average airsofter... which is sad. And their tactics/violence of action is the way it is because it's airsoft, you have to be bolder with some of your actions, because defenders/opfor know whats exactly what is coming... contact 100% of the time and your element of surprise is basically limited to violence of action during room clearing procedure
@cthomps Got the right to your opinion, but I’m still correct. Check MCWP 3-35.3 in the Marine Corps, or FM 90-10 in the army under MOUT or UO operations, it will back me up 100%. You can ramble on about how you know it, but do you? Sorry I call your bluff with fact.
@FortPolkAirsoft Basically what I'm pointing out is where GMR has taken the liberties to change their tactics from that of military doctrine, for airsoft purposes. Yes, you got me with your "fact" from the doctrine. But to be honest with you it's hard to translate most of the doctrine over to airsoft. I wasn't rambling on about knowing military doctrine, I was simply pointing out why some of your statements are incorrect or are questionable (although you won't see it that way)
@cthomps No I got you and you are right, you must change some things due to range, but the fundamentals stay the same. Basics are the base to tactics and training, and in MOUT you have zero room for error. If you stick to the book and train it until it is second nature you can’t go wrong. Key point it is Airsoft but how serious other people take it is the difference.
@FortPolkAirsoft Yeah pretty much what I mean, also with their violence of action I think I once heard in an interview that they either push so hard that they break through the enemy or they push so hard that they all die and have to go to respawn. That's the great thing about airsoft, you can push your abilities and if they fail, you now have learned what to work on, and you can try again.
@FreakCitySF Really.. then I ask you this... Have you ever been to Iraq? If the answer is no then I would
1. shut the fuck up
2. go enlist and volunteer to be put into Afgan/Iraq ASAP.
Weather or not you have served/serving I don't know but I will say that most of GMR have been in the military/contractors and I know that some have been to Iraq, so to say that they will "F up" yet you supply no information why besides the music is beyond stupidity and extremely hypocritical.
@schwartz2112 Why would I be a moron on go into a war? Protect what? oil? I ride a bike. Is that a Osprey? Another piece of evidence you are retarded. How many of those have crashed and yet they keep using them? what a waste of money and human lives.
@FreakCitySF Ironic enough you claim I am the retard yet you use "a" next to Osprey. Also when soldiers have died it was in the testing stage. On another note, join the army or something, the Marines/Navy use Ospreys. It shouldn't matter anyway becuase your to pathetic to actually do anything but bash people who fight for not only your rights but your oil, and yes you use oil... maybe not for a car but for other things as well. So please come with a decent idea of what you are talking about.
some of its real tool, like the MICH 2000's the have on. see, im the only one one my team that actually has gear like that, everyone else is to cheap to get it.
