Everyone I have seen agaisnt Pit has been a complete idiot, instead of going threw oall the trouble of avoiding Pits arrows, JUST BLOCK THEM!!!!!

Pit cant K.O easily which at low percentages so for someone like me who uses Ike I just block the shots close in avoid hes spaming attacks which are the only things to fear at low.

Close in on him build up a litlle of he's damage and wait for a chance to K.O

Brawl was released in japan about 3 or 4 moths before it came to the U.S which is the version their playing. They most likely imported it shortly after its release.

Also the stagy I mentioned was one I eventually learned myself due to my friends habit of spamming.

Of course this strategy is most effective for Ike uses like me who are more interested in simply K.Oing the opponent as quickly as possible and punishing errors as apposed to bringing up their damage slowly,and carefully

I never said you were bad sorry for my misleading combat I was just a bit frustrated that so many people go out their their way to avoid pits arrows when only a mere super guard is necessary.

Same for Ike vs wolf............. although a good Wolf user is almost as tough for me to fight as a good Marth player :(

yo the pit is a noob compared to the link user. Pit is already a cheap character by itself with the arrows and the wings but the link still managed to get the damage to pass his own. skills.

everyone is talking about Pit being Op here and there, but Metaknight can fly about just as good and faster too. The only difference is that MK seems to fly off with lower damage percentages

Don't forget about his hyper attacking speed since he's balanced he has a light weight so exploit this weakness.

IMO Link was overnerfed!

- They nerfed his Spin Attack (both in power and by removinv the semi-spike properties) while keeping its ridiculous lag afterwards.

- His aeriel for comboing is gone as well (Nair is MUCH worse in priority and power!), and his boomerang now sucks for juggling people (also ridiculous damage compared to before)

- His power moves like Fair, Dair and Uair have an INSANE lag time now (not that they didn't before but AT LEAST you could l-cancel)

you can't say a character is nerfed or OP until you get the game so don't make early assumptions. And why are you talking about tier lists? The game hasn't been around long enough for that kind of stuff yet.

Link really wasn't nerfed much at all in Brawl. And lol at tiers this early.

Anyways, Link was never anything special in Melee, so he won't be bottom tier this time by not changing too much for the better or worse.

I was rootin for J666 mainly cause he had link and he's the only person i've seen use him so far and he did a pretty good job aside for a few mistakes. Awesome battle though, and is it just me or are there alot of Pits in this tournament...

It's actually possible to parry Pit's arrows with Link's uncharged ones from the right distance. I don't think the starting one was too far that he couldn't do it. It's in another vid of J666 and Waffle fighting.

J666 is a very good Link player but not AS good as he useally is in this one, i think it's just because he's never versed a good pit

Wow, Pit really looks like he's top tier. Fast disjointed combo moves. His Smashes look decently fast.  Plus, projectile camping, ways to reflect projectiles, and good recovery.

Still, I'm maining Pit just cause he's cool looking.

I've seen people just spam from beginning to end with no alternation, Brown isn't spamming he's adding pressure to J666's approach otherwise he'd try to run everytime J666 got close.

There was never that great a chance of it hitting on the way back anyway (sure Toon Link's can, but it flies so slowly, you'd have to actually LET yourself get hit by it). At least with the Gale Boomerang, we have a faster flying projectile that, when sweetspotted, opens up ideas for a decent decent(if hit at the right angle, the enemy will be pulled back some while they're still stunned in midair, leaving them to be Up-Smashed/F-Smashed, an observation I made watching another video of J666).

Pit is overpowered I swear people act like they're just good with him but I mean seriously...... Best projectile in the game ability to dodge and send back others projectiles, as well as best recovery. And hell his melee is pretty damn good too.....

OMG WHY DOES LINK NEVER win or nvr used in adventure, UGH they made peach who always gets captured strong as ganon, faster than kirby a lot faster. and can float AND GLIDE and he golf, pan tennis is stronger than a sword.. nthan link.. the strongest nintendo character weak in smash. i know its unfair if u give link all powers BUT CMON!
