This is a huge story, which the press is ignoring. The owners of our media would rather run the elections themselves. Accurate vote counts just get in their way.

Not sure how this works but when voting the voter signs a register. Are these signatures counted and matched with the number of votes cast?  Is that how we know how many votes are missing? Voters need some system of accountability. Everyone knows electronic voting in any form is subject to tampering. We must return to paper ballots a paper trail. Look at the profit made by the electronic voting korporations citizens are being robbed by Bu$h boot lickers.

If you are not sure how it works then you should not comment on it. But yes that is how it works. Total registered voters, and total votes per race. The fact is that not everyone votes on every race, and thus the numbers do not match. And to the tired old argument that all these people are 'Bush Friends' get your facts straight. The man who runs the largest of the electronic voting company was a Gore backer... why I have no idea as if he had been elected the owner would have lost much money.

You ask "what hard evidence" is there the system is flawed?... Good question... And the answer is LOTS! For example in HBO's documentary 'Hacking Democracy' Florida's Diebold voting system is hacked live and on camera and an election is rigged without the hacker even entering the room with the Diebold computers.

Please folks if you know how many are missing then they are not lost... Not everyone is smart enough to do it correctly. The liberals like the ACLU will whine and cry 'lost votes' unless they win. I have a friend that runs a computer company and the stories he tells me about the problem that comes from what sits between the seat and the keyboard.

So, you are going to fault people who want to vote but aren't computer savvy? That is a really ridiculous argument. Even one vote lost is one too many. The point is that if there is another close election there will be a paper trail, not a bunch of computers that may or may not have correct information.

Next if someone can not figure out how to vote, then maybe someone should look into the way government runs the school system. Face the hard fact that the world is not totally fair, that the good guys do not always win, and that crying foul is not the way to get what you want. Besides if the world was fair then everyone would be in the same tax bracket.

Votes are vanishing, and elections failing in every state that uses paperless touchscreens. Time to put a stop to big money vendors who don't have the integrity of America's democracy as their top priority.
