  • We miss you still every minute of every day Alex. I would give anything to have you back again. i love you . mom

  • I knew Brian and all I can say is He was a great man who loved his job and his family. He may not be here in the flesh but he is here in spirit. I have most of the videos of all of our commrades on my old computer and his memorial is one that I used to frequent. I miss him as well. He will never be forgotten. From one of his 1/9 Inf. commrades I say hang in there you will see your son again.

  • You can help vets and active duty with PTSD and TBI. We give them service dogs. And try to fund it with raffles. Each $10 tickets helps! helpkyriadotcom

  • This is SPC Brian P Shaver's mom, as my screen name indicates. I STILL wait for justice for my son.

Your Brian was a beautiful guy. My thoughts are with you always.

  • great video i was in 2-17 FA the FA unit that supported the brigade

  • Thank You Spc Brian Alex Vaughn.

  • I shared the tour with Spc Vaughn. Although I did not know him personally, I was in support of the 1/9 on Camp Hovey, South Korea when we deployed and was also serving at Ar Ramadi on the day he fell. I lost many friends and countless brothers in the sands of Iraq. Please give them the respect that they deserve. This is a tribute, not an arguement over a war.

  • Thank you Mom, I'll never forget your Son, Our Brother ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • Your son was a great man. He was our medic in 3rd platoon. I know he's in a great place becuase he had a big heart.

  • There is no more noble ambition than what your son did. He really is a hero. I hope you found peace brother.

  • may you rip sir. you are a true hero

  • Find Peace In Eternal Rest Brother.

  • I don't know what SPC Vaughn believed, I don't know how he saw the war, and I don't know what he wanted. I simply hope he found it.

I hope that someday I can make soldiers like him and the others proud, no matter where they are.

    SPC Thomas

  • Nice video. I was in his sister unit, the 1-503rd in Ramadi for that tour and I am in A 1-9 now, just returning from Ramadi again.
