  • Thanks so much for uploading this!! Takes me back!

  • Excellent dance music!

  • Timeless ~ Awesome Thank you ~

  • Yes Thank God, there is people that have some gray matter still to think with still out there in the world of brainless shit.

  • Beautiful. I remember when this was in the charts.

  • OMG!!!

    OMG!!!!!!

    OMG!!!!!!!!!

(S)HE'S WILLI NINJA VOGUEING IN THE LATE 70s FOR GIORGIO?!?!?

    A piece of history.

  • OMG! At 1:32 there's a primitive form of VOGUEING, years before it went mainstream with Madonna. Super-super-super-GAY!

  • musical ecstasy!

  • the best electronic music

  • From a hot nasty summer came this, hot nasty song. Mixed with Cerrone's Supernature and Donna Summers I Feel Love could make a person orgasm ;-)

  • boobs!

  • Yeah the music is cool these days as well, but back in the late seventies we used stereo amplifiers and speakers that were capable of actually reproducing the BASS required, to truely get off on this stuff. My ipod (and it's speaker dock) would shit itself if it had to cope with a 16Hz bass note.

  • Herbie Hancock also took a stab at this type of sound, using the voice synthesizer (vocoder). Remember "Feets Don't Fail Me Now"...

  • Yes you right and he still make music in 80 and 90+

And a lot of music for very famous song for movie that people dont not

Is the father Of thecno music

  • eu tinha essa bolacha de vinil....MrDacioss/@adaciao

  • Giorgio Moroder made disco music, but I think that house and techno was create because of people like him

  • @Davinci110 that´s for sure!MrDacioss/@adaciao

  • yahh,i'm 51 and was dj in 1978 in a discohotel,oh man what a tune, everyones come on the dancefloor with giorgio songs, today .......but i'v been there!!!!!

  • awsome music! Giorgio Moroder and many other artists of the 70's & 80's....and I'm 22 years old!!! Today's music? just shit

  • My ears are tasting the sonic grooves.

  • Brings me back the seventies, Kraftwerk , Tangerine dream , Tubeaway army , and early Human league...etc.

  • El rey del Soundtrack comercial de los 70 y 80 , Sin duda Moroder tenia talento pero en mi opinion encamino mal su creatividad.

  • el primordio del dance tecno: FLASH DANCE TECNO

...more in the video EXCLUIDODIGITAL !

  • Giorgio black power good!

  • Man, this was old in 87...yet so fresh! As it is today stil...so cool and e-lec-tronic!

  • I must go out right now and get that 8-Track right now!!!!!!!!!!!! and some more long play records of this song!

  • Too ahead of his time. Even now it rocks.....It reminds me of Psy-Trans. Im i wrong ?

  • @UBTUNE

These kinds of artists were the ancestors of the pystrance and other electronic acts we have today. I think the older stuff is better for the most part to be honest, I think it might be what synthesizers were common then compared to now.

  • q temazoooooo!!!!!!!!!..q manera de bailar estos temass...

  • the begining of trance tecno!!!

  • This album was my first vinyl ever.

  • Grand Theft Auto 3?

  • One of my first vinyl singles ever I bought ! Great ! Great !

  • Can anyone help me find this original version? ITunes has a bunch of reworked and DJ interpretations that are not as good as the original. Even the Itunes link on top accesses remakes.

  • for years i was looking for this album until i found the CD in Germany and the Vynil in USA...great great album lots of memories...thank you Giorgio

  • this brings back so many memories of when I 17-18 years old great days.

  • Huge disco hit at the clubs of NY and Philadelphia

rarely played on radio, timeless classic!

  • Giorgio Moroder spuntò dal nulla

e conquistò l' europa insieme a Donna Summer FAVOLOSI QUEGLI ANNI !!!

  • GREAT PRODUCER OF THE DISCO ERA! I LOVE IT...HE WAS AHEAD OF HIS TIME...I WAS 14 YEARS OLD, WHEN I HEARD OF GIORGIO MORODER...HE WAS THE PRODUCER OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE GROUP'S....THE THREE D-GREES....thank's for posting this great music!!!!

  • this is visionary

  • brrrr ...there are many many cuts ....

But which version starts at 4:30 ?

How called the version with the lady-choir - starts at 4:30 ?

  • GTA Liberty City......Cool.........

  • If you show this song for a today teenager he will say this song is new. Thanks Moroder! You're the best!

  • This is Giorgio Moroder at his best-A true pioneer in electronic disco-This track along with I feel Love, is a stroke of creative genius. This track still sounds great!

  • subscribe to imahich2

  • An original disco classic....fantastic.

  • Giorgio's sound is unique... Great ! ! !

  • GIORGIO SI DIED??

  • oh holy fuck! what a tune!!! why cant there be music this good these days??

  • @irishelk1 There is a ton of great music out these days.... especially stuff like this. Listen to any of the new disco or electro out there and you can hear tons of great stuff like this. Black Devil Disco Club is still making music in the vein of Moroder... and he is from that era.

I'm sick of people saying there is no good music "these days" every generation has dinosaurs who repeat that. It's not true now, and it never has been. There is a whole ton of great music being made now.

  • @irishelk1 detroit techno was heavily influenced by moroder, disco and house. check out warwick by eddie flashin fowlkes on youtube.

  • great song back in montreal 1978,club the lime-light .best disco, dance music ever .i was 19 never forget this music

  • IDOLO!!

  • Were they having raves in 1977 or was that a disco?

  • the rave scene was in the mid to late 80's...this is pure disco magic...obviously though you hear where trance comes from.

  • Definitely I hear where trance come from, but I'm also surprised how much, visually, rave drew from disco, like the lighting, costumes, dancing...

  • That bit at the ends not real, its been put on, you can tell by the baseball cap and the way he's dancing.

  • And the boots

  • yeah, and all sorts of logo's and lighting

  • the girl in this video is so sexy and dances so beautifully I wish I could have made babies with her.

  • I love this ! very very great music !

  • Is this is from 1977? Good gravy... This sounds like an early HOUSE song! Giorgio was miles ahead of his time. Father of Electronic Dance music without doubt, along with Kraftwerk of course but their music just wasn't very danceable.

  • Moroder is the best techno maker ever been.

  • FANTASTIC MORODER THE BEST EVER

  • I remember this from the time, tho I was young. Listening to it now I realise what a fantastic ground breaking piece it must have been - respect to the mighty G.M.

  • Babies, I'll be 47 on Sept 22, 08, and I will tell you that in 1976-77 this was hot at the disco!!!! Shit, fuck the rap/hip hop they are pushing now. It was HOT then...ENJOY

  • @conchaperez I agree completely, i cant stand that type of music either. Its all the same, all of the modern hiphop bullshit is all about these topics: Sex, drugs, women, money, cars, fake shiny teeth (grills). And the way they decribe things in that music... very graffic. I call it "Porn for blind people". I hate to see younger kids listening to that bullshit... They dont even know what they are singing along to....

  • @conchaperez Happy Birthday

  • Moscow,Hotel Izmailovo,night discotec,whisky,vodka,beuty girls , 1980 I love this time

  • when it was released ?

  • 1978-1979

  • 1977

  • This is the classic of the classics, regarding electronic disco. Simply outstanding and probably impossible to beat.

  • No it wasn't; this is all analogue recordings-the first fully digitally recorded album was actually Jesus Jones's album "Doubt"-back in 1992

  • Error. It was the E=MC2 from 1979, Giorgio Moroder's

  • Full digital recording in 1982? Didn't exist mate-try again, your thinking of analogue to digital conversion. First FULLY DIGITAL RECORDED ALBUM, was the one I mentioned-even down to the fact the artists aren't credited with instrumnets, rather they are given credits for "frequencies" played.

  • In 1979 the first digitally recorded album of popular music Bop 'Til You Drop by guitarist Ry Cooder was released by Warner Bros. Records. The album was recorded in Los Angeles on a 32-track digital machine built by 3M Corporation.

    And E=MC2 was digitally recorded.

  • Yes, that is correct, E=MC2 was recorded on one of the first commercially available digital recorders, the Soundstream system, developed by the company of the same name (look up "Soundstream" in Wikipedia for more info).

  • moroder,un mito!!!

  • Can you imagine if they were to come out with music so great nowadays? It would be called a miracle!

  • Vocoder Moroder! This tune was inspiring to many artists...

  • ..Jean-Michel Jarre-- Giorgio Moroder... GENIUS.. On my knees to this guys..( in the good sense alright..? ) je je

Cesar from the Big, Big Mexico City :=O

  • don't forget. ralph and florian(kraftwerk),edgar, chris and peter(tangerine dream)and a few more on my altar to the electric masters...

  • His music was soooo far ahead of it's time...30 plus years later it *still* sounds fresh!

  • Giorgio fucking rocks... I own the CD from the movie Midnight Express, such brilliant work! his music will NEVER die!

  • giorgio is great ,but bobby o is the master .

  • if bobby o is the master than kraftwerk are the ultimate masters

  • My father used to listen this music when i was young. I'm 28 years old now and i like it. Moroder rocks, then and now. His music still being a reference (disco, progressive, electro), but the father s) of the electro, are, for many reasons, Kraftwerk.

  • Giorgio Moroder Is second to none. He's my hero.

He takes me there with love.

  • Giorgio Moroder i love you man, thanks for the video

  • Just received this alubum in the post..I notice this video is 2 songs from the album mixed together, its 'from here to eternity' and 'utopia me giorgio' mixed straight after...if u wanted to know!

  • fantastico el genio de la musica digital

  • looks like willie ninja...rest her soul.

    epic track.

    giorgio rules...

  • Fantastic song. Giorgo Moroder is the master! He influenced the Italo disco scene.

  • does anyone know where I could find the song "I wanna rock you"?

  • "I Wanna Rock You" is on "E=MC2" cd

  • Whoa did y'all catch that dude in the neon shirt doing the vouge?!
